This beach hotel is excellent. Peter of Sandtorgholmen helped us find northern lights on the first night. Hotel staff helped our luggages up to the second floor. Highly recommend to stay overnight for northern light chasing.

For what we needed...a half way stop in our driving...this hotel sufficed. The staff is very helpful. The dinner and breakfast buffets are nice. The rooms are basic.

Authentic Norwegian experience
I stayed one night before my flight the next day. The hotel is comfortable. A very authentic Norwegian experience. Beautiful location on the ocean.

Lovely independent hotel, overlooking the fjord. Beautiful location. Very nice couple greeted me, and could not do enough to make me feel welcome and at home. Would definitely stay there again if in the area for a few days.

Warm friendly and beautidul
Clearly run by people who care deeply and make you feel welcome and at home. It's a good place to stay if you're flying out of Evenes airport, otherwise the area does not have much to attract it, although the hotel itself has some spectacular views.

Major disappointment
The room was nothing like the internet photos. Maintenance needed to repair bathroom shower doors which didn't close properly thus floor flooded. Bedroom curtains didn't block out sunshine at all for sleeping. We booked a double room with sofa bed. No sofa bed and room was cramped with hardly anywhere to put cases. The TV didn't work and we couldn't get WiFi. Our room was changed for us but there were no tea making facilities in either of the rooms. The cost of our room was far too high for such a poor standard.

A Private Getaway from the Rigors of Everyday Life
An absolutely wonderful location with very involved owners. A place for a quiet getaway with the feeling of an upscale B&B. Would I go back again? Absolutely. Rural Norway at its best. The view was fantastic along a deep fjord.. A 30 minute drive from Evenes Airport... A perfect getaway

Wonderful hostess who opened for breakfast early just to accommodate us. Views were spectacular. Early August so we opened windows without too much shipping and nature noise. Would go back and stay many more times.

Great place for a get away
This is a lovely place to stay. It was off season so not much activity or guests but that's what I expected. I had the dining room to myself (the only other guests arrived after I had finished dinner. The location is good to catch a flight out of Evenes Airport. The room was comfortable and the view spectacular. I would stay there again and recommend it to others.

A great place to start
We traveled 30 hours and were very tired looking forward to our visit to the Lofoten Islands. This was a great place t start and just close enough to the Harstad (EVE) airport. The staff was very friendly the the restaurant food was excellent. We stayed at the beginning as well as the end of our trip into the islands.

We arrived hungry and the best dinner buffer was served. Room had a magnifevent view. Walks and a dip in the sea from a white beach. Fishing with gear from the hotel. Beautiful and friendly place!

Majoitus paikkana loistava. Puitteet, maisemat ja henkilökunta erinomaista. Illallinen pettymys, ruoassa vähän makua, ulkonäkö ei varsinaosesti houkuttanut varsinkaan lasta. Nälkä kyllä lähti.

Würde es nicht nochmals buchen.
Ok war der check in und das Frühstück. Das Zimmer war etwas muffelig, die Möbel kein Shabby Chic, sondern nur abgenutzt.

Dyrt i forhold til standarden, men koselige rom.
Koselig og rent hotellrom. Ble oppgradert til suite mot ekstra betaling, men vil si at dette var et helt ordinært hotellrom. Fikk levert frokost på døra da jeg var eneste gjest på hotellet, det var helt ok. De hadde glemt kniv og egget var kaldt. Ellers var det veldig fin beliggenhet.

Flott nordlandssted - verdt et besøk
Flott sted! Fin natur og fine fotturer - god fersk torsk til middag. Alt var bra- fint rom og det eneste var at porsjoner til middag etc var litt små. Det er greit når resten var så bra!

Et aldeles nydelig sted mht natur og omgivelser. Stedet i seg selv var flott som et eldre, flott hus fra en tidligere tidsepoke. Historisk sett en perle. Maten god. Jeg kom på et tidspunkt med lavsesong og på kvelden kun for overnatting og frokost, men opplevde en god service og god komfort, utfra hotelltype og på et historisk særdeles naturskjønt sted. Jeg forlot med en god følelse.

La struttura è veramente caratteristico e vanta una posizione fantastica. Camere in legno carinissime con bagno moderno . Ristorante buono con prezzi norvegesi. Staff cordiale. Deludente invece la colazione veramente povera. Dovrebbe anche abbassare il prezzo di soggiorno eccessivo per i servizi offerti.

Underbemannet og overpriset, styr unna!
Ekstremt overpriset i forhold til tilbudet. Med den prisen bør man forvente er bedre rom, bedre komfort, bedre service og ikke minst bedre frokost. Eksempelvis: Ingen kjøling av mat eller drikke i spisesal, typisk sak for Mattilsynet. Hvem med respekt for seg selv serverer kjøpekneip? Meget dårlig utvalg av pålegg, brød, drikke, frokostblanding osv. Kan knapt kalles frokostbuffet. Ingen oppfølging fra personalet med tanke på påfyll, kommunikasjon med gjestene osv. Underbemannet. Håpløst når personalet skal jobbe i resepsjon, i spisesal og på kjøkken samtidig. Frokosten visnet på rot mens den ene på jobb tuklet med utsjekkingssystemet. Vi har reist mye, men dette er nok absolutt dårligst «value for money».

Fantastisk sted som kan nå enda lenger med maten.
Ligger særdeles vakkert til med flotte bygninger og fine rom. Service og komfort er utmerket. Hyggelig betjening. Maten var god, men de fine fiske-råvarene kunne vært utnyttet til å skape mer spennende retter. Ferdigkokte poteter holder ikke for et slikt sted. Omgivelser, miljø og service gjør likevel at det anbefales som et attraktivt overnattingssted!
