"As soon as I walked in I could tell the room was cleaned and disinfected. The staff were really nice and polite. The tables outside with the umbrella attachments need some maintenance but it didn’t take away from the vibe you get sitting out there. I sat there during the day and at night and the property was quiet and peaceful. The air conditioning works really quick which was amazing during my stay because it did get hot out in the afternoon. There’s also ample parking spaces."

We stayed at the Super 8 in Columbia, GA while attending my daughter’s military graduation because of its proximity to the base—but that was the only positive about this experience. From the moment we checked in, things felt off. The lobby was unkempt, and the staff seemed uninterested and unprofessional. Once we got to the room, it only got worse. The room was dirty, with stained sheets, a strong odor, and surfaces that clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned. When we turned on the AC unit it smelt like urine. To make matters even worse, there were roaches in both the bathroom and the room, which made it impossible to feel safe or comfortable. The atmosphere outside only added to the discomfort. Groups of people were hanging around outside smoking, which made the environment feel unsafe and unwelcoming. Basic amenities were either broken or missing, and the bathroom was in terrible condition. It was clear that maintenance and cleanliness are not priorities here. On top of that, the noise level made it nearly impossible to get any rest—especially frustrating during such an important trip for our family."
