We've been traveling to the Houghton Lake area for the past 10 years renting properties for the stay and this is by far the nicest home we've stayed in. The kitchen is well stocked, the home was clean, the furnishings were comfortable and the decor was lovely. We stayed in Harrison to visit with family for a Labor Day cookout I brought a cake that I made at the cabin - measuring cups, utensils, mixer and mixing bowl - everything I needed to make the cake was there.The welcome pastries were great! We ended up visting the store the next day for more!
