Experience this unique and peaceful home conveniently located in Harrisburg, PA! Newly remodeled to accommodate up to 10 guests. This is a ranch style single family home with a finished walk-out basement that leads to a fenced back yard. The upper level has 3 bedrooms, kitchen, dining area, living room and full bath. The lower level has 2 bedrooms, full bath, and another living room. All bedrooms have a queen size bed.

Extended weekend stay

This house was set up perfectly for 2 families traveling together. With 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs it was the perfect place for us. A short 15 minute drive to Hershey park made it the perfect choice for us.

Single Family Home close to Hershey

This home has 5 bedrooms, which nicely accommodated our group. It was very clean, and the owners provided all of the essentials. It is about a 15-minute drive to Hershey, but that was fine with us because it was away from the crowds.

Gettysburg & Hershey trip

The property was clean, the beds very comfortable. The only negative we had was no closet rods in 3 of the 5 bedroom closets, nor were there any kitchen towels or dish clothes. The location worked for our plans.

Short stay

The location was great for where we were visiting. The home was clean and tidy. Upon our arrival, we were hit with a VERY strong smell of cigarette smell. We had to go get febreze and spray the whole house multiple times during our stay. Other than the smoke smell, the house was nicely decorated, beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay.

Great place to lay your head

Description is accuate. The owner of the property has a very detailed book there. Even lists emergency numbers and local restaurants in the area. 20 minutes to Hershey Park. There are beer and liquor stores 1 mile away. Along with supermarkets and a walmart. Has a gas grill with utensils for it. Fit my extended family. Wife, 4 kids, 2 grand children and son in law all comfortably. Plenty of towels and all other essentials. Only issue was that check in time was 3 pm and did not get the info until 310. This was due to internet error. Either way went very smooth. Would rent again from this host.

Stayed there for a trip to Hershey park and stadium. Great location, close to the attractions. Extremely clean, plenty of parking, directions for check in and check out very easy. Had all the necessities so were able to cook with no problem. Overall, highly recommend!

Hershey Family Vacation

The Home suited our Family 4 adults and 4 children ages 9 months to a 6 year old.The advantage of staying at a home with a young family: able to relax in a causal setting, meal preparation, sleeping arrangements, and a 20 minute commute to Hershey Park made the place ideal for us.

Wedding Weekend

The property was clean. Owner communicated well. Two suggestions would be more bakeware and cookie sheets for biscuits or muffins. Secondly, beds were very firm almost hard. Overall… met our needs for the area.

Very nice vacation home

This home was very clean, it is nicely decorated, and in a nice family neighborhood. It is easy to ge to from the highway. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds are very comfortable. There were plenty of towells and bed linens. I suggest putting place mats on the kitchen table to protect the wood, also dish cloths and dish towells. I used the dishwasher but it didn't get all of the dishes and silverware clean dispite rinsing everything off prior to filling up the dishwasher. I would recommend others to stay at this well kept home. I would also stay here again when in the area.

Weekend Stay

This stay was not what was advertised. From the start of my stay, I wasn’t given a welcome with the code to get into the property. I had to reach out to the property manager as I have been waiting all morning and day. When we arrived to the property, the front of the house looked really old (also wasn’t advertised in any photos). The walls had dirt and stains on it, the sheets had brown stains on them, there was so much dust and mildew downstairs that myself and my children with asthma had to relocate. After 5 minutes of showering the water got cold. So I decided to warm water on the stove to give my children a wash up and 2 of the burners on the stove did not work. When I contacted the owner I was told to check the breaker to see if it has tripped. Downstairs area had bugs, noticeable chip paint on the bathroom walls, the patio outside had mildew on the bottom of the walls, the screens were all ripped up so when it rained everything got wet. Only one room had a tv in it which was the living room. There was trash from the previous people on the dumpster so we were able to fit our trash and had to relocate it elsewhere. The neighborhood was quiet but the overall stay was just not what was advertised. Installation was falling out of the walls in the washer room. It was not what was advertised for the price. I have taken pictures compared to what was advertised.
