"The location can't be beat- right on the river and walking distance to everything you could want. That being said, the accommodations were average- it gives the vibe of DIY. If you have reactive dogs (luckily we don't) i would suggest staying elsewhere- you can hear all the movements of your neighbors. But again, location was awesome."

We wanted to find an affordable place to sleep for the night so that we didn't have to drive home, and this was perfect. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet for being in the middle of downtown. It was a little too chilly to head to the walking path by the river, but it was very close, and the river is lovely. I was worried about parking, but it wasn't too tough to find a spot either in front of the building or...

"This place had it all! The view, the comfortable bed, the central location downtown, the amenities, the big TV with all the streaming channels, and much more! No noises from neighbors or the street was an added bonus. Communication with the friendly host was quick and helpful. Definitely worth 5 stars!"

"If I had to guess, this place isn't more than a year old. It was beautiful, spotless, and cozy. Plenty of room for three of us. They had no problem with my husband and son throwing the football around in the yard behind the unit for rent, which was much needed for a teenager after a long time in the car. It was off the beaten path, but close enough to everything to get to where we need to go quickly. Great communication. Only got to stay one night, but hope to stay again for our next tournament...

"Beautiful place,extremely clean and spacious for an apartment rental. 6 of us stayed for 4 nights,all good except for the noise from busy road /traffic light in front of house. the living room and second bedroom upstairs face the front so that was extremely noisy all night. Master bedroom was in back of house and was so peaceful,along with the back yard which was a bonus!! Will definitely return,it was a perfect location for our trip!"

"It was a delight to stay in the Shoe which I saw for so many years on the way to visit my extended family in Reading, PA from Baltimore. Enjoyed the design of the shoe house and there was something quaint about the rooms that made them comforting. The hot tub and fire pit were nice additions. The host was very responsive. It was a delight!"
