"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful.
Hatice Hanım’s homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious, and everything was freshly made. This is a lovely family run hotel, and everyone, including their children, was kind and always ready to help.
The rooms were clean, and the hotel truly reflects the spirit of Şanlıurfa. It is also within easy walking distance of Balıklıgöl and the historic bazaar.
A special thanks to Mehmet Bey, who kindly drove us to the bus station late in the evening without expecting anything in return. We truly appreciated his kindness.
We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Şanlıurfa."
"Ottima esperienza, in centro. Il personale disponibile, Ismail prezioso. La zona è piena di commerci, a due passi dal bazar. Vicina ai più importanti interessi turistici Ci tornerei sicuramente. Magari non acon il caldo di luglio"
"U are staying in a old historic castle building it is so beautiful, a small little gem in the middle of the old city, I was so fortunate to stay here, if you want to experience the unique culture and history of Sanliufa this is the place. The staff are beyond amazing so helpful a nice big hearty breakfast is served and its location is key about a 10 min walk to the sacred pool of fish, not if but when I return I will stay here again. This is not a new big modern hotel but a gem hidden in the unique city, it is really like u went back in time 1500 years ago, amazing. I was solo travelling its super safe and the hotel and its location is exactly what I wanted to experience. The amenities are basic but it has everything you need and I promise u will feel history come alive while staying here."
"The owner of the Hotel (Mr. Mehmet) could not have been any more helpful, all of the recommendations he made were very good. Location wise it is in a good setting, easy access to what needs to be explored around the town. Breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. Ms. Emine was very attentive and provided us with all that was needed. I would go back without hesitation."
"Such an authentic Turkish place to stay.
Small rooms but everything you need. Comfortable bed. Lovely courtyard and fantastic breakfast. The staff were great"
"Perfect choice for Sanliurfa. Fish pools just over the road and beautiful views from the hotel of the fish pool gardens and castle wall ruins.
Breakfast was amazing! First class. We also had a fantastic dinner in the cellar for a Turkish evening. It is pretty loud but a lot of fun with authentic Turkish music and fantastic food. The top restaurant wasn’t open that would have seen the views, I’m guessing because it was too windy?"
"Firstly, it's a good looking place in its original style, however, my room (basic single), I don't think was worth the price.
It was clean, but the amenities inside needed attention, and it had a damp smell. The Aircon also stopped working (batteries I think), but the guy was gone, so couldn't ask for new ones. Instead, with only a sheet on the bed, I had a cool night.
Breakfast was very good though, and quite varied, but the lack of interaction/interest from the staff made it more of a sterile place to stay, than a nice welcoming one.
Beware, it's tucked away in the old part of town, so if you have a vehicle, it's not easy to get to, even on a motorbike"
"This place is old building, some countries find 200 years old building and calls it a historical side or marker. This building is more than 500 years old and you live in it and you became a part of it's history. Yet it's still nicely decorated accommodation and very pleasant to be in.
Wen you get to the reception Mr. Baris welcomes you with a warm smile from that moment on he bombard you with the information about the city and amenities, food. Just ask him he is like free travel guide comes with hotel stay. He provides maps and very detailed info about the city.
Breakfast is plentiful with very delicious items. Ms. Emine is there even before your tea or coffee cup half way empty, her cute and broad smile welcoming you like you are loved guest in her house, there is no forced fake smile, you may find in some big franchise hotels.
One other person was Mr. Ali he will be around and watching you like a hawk if you ever need some thing he will be there in a second.
This place is really a home away home, if you managed to get a room, stay here. It's in walking distance to several good local restaurants."
