"Staff on arrival were lovely and helpful, the room was clean and tidy, and the continental breakfast was reasonably good. The 3-stars is for the poor quality of the sleep alone. I booked the Holiday Inn specifically to be near the airport and get a good night's rest before my early flight. Sadly, I discovered the hotel decided to disable the AC and leave only a fan to cool the room, which meant it was very stuffy and warm, and combined with the lumpy pillows, I didn't sleep well at all."

"Great location, nice room.size, shower head had great power. Gym on site not big but perfect for short workouts on the go. Also breakfast was amazing 👏. Overall happy with the stay."

"The room was very clean and nicely prepared before we arrived. I had asked for the pullout couch as a bed, and it was already made. The only thing we’re not all of the outlets in the room worked., and the TV did not have many channels to enjoy. A lot of of them said no signal or reconnected to a radio station. The receptionist were very nice and so where the room tenants. We really enjoy the breakfast that might’ve been the best part other than its convenient location near Park Royal for easy access to London as a visitor."

"The room 247 I stayed in was dirty bed mattress was old like lying on old springs. The main complaint was the window there was a safiwire on which I understand but no handle on frame for air in room but most of all a fire hazard as you could not open "

"Other than the awkward placement of the safe deposit box (inaccessible for a short person) the room was spacious and well laid out. Wonderfully clean during the week, but the cleanliness took a hit on the weekend, likely because of the football game on Saturday night - the hotel was packed full, and they were clearly short-handed. Our 2 bottles of drinking water and incredibly delicious cookies were not replenished as they had been the previous 3 days, and the bathroom bin remained unemptied the entire weekend. There was also a strong smell of sewer some evenings when we walked in after having been out all day. This smell dissipated after several minutes but it was not nice to come home to. The friendly woman at the desk (Noelle) did her utmost to supply what she could, stockwise, and someone was sent up the following morning to deal with the bad smell by dropping a tablet of some sort down the drain. So in the end, everything worked out, but it was still disappointing to have to deal with these issues after such a strong start. The location of the hotel itself was unbeatable - right across the street from Finsbury Park Station, from which you could catch the Tube (Piccadilly Line) to and from Heathrow Airport (approx one hour ride) or the train to places like Cambridge - very comfortable and clean. And of course, if you were there for the football (we weren't) it appeared to be of excellent proximity to Emirates Stadium (10-15 min walk). I would definitely stay here again. "

"Tired and run down. Changed rooms and the second one ws also awful. Bed uncomfortable and bathroom dirty. Stains on carpet and evetything is dated. Food is average at best. Staff are friendly. Ive stayed here everal times for work and aadly i wont be booking again."
