"Our experience was horrible. We texted host during our entire stay with disappointing resolutions. First cabin was so dirty we couldn’t sit on couch or shower. It smelled so foul we couldn’t pin point the odd smell, it seemed to not be clean overall. We couldn’t get past the smell. Hosts resolution was smelly diffuser dropped off by 2nd set of cleaners coming thru. I explained I expected hotel clean and hotels don’t use smelly stuff to make it smell clean. Shower had soap dripped all over from precious guest, host claimed it was hard water spots. Photos prove it’s soap, shower was not cleaned. Floors had thick mud spots all over as if not mopped. After 2 cleaners came back and cleaned again the place smelled and was still filthy. I did find dirt in garbage to show they did broom sweep but it didn’t change smell or uncleaned shower. So, at midnight we requested what could be done. She moved us to a “new” cabin. Saw dust all over floors so we swept with deeper and broom so it didn’t get all over us. Bed sheets bad humans and animal hairs all over them. Host claimed they were brand new not washed, sure enough they had new wrinkles but the hair wasn’t acceptable under the sheets for us to sleep on. After cold showers we realized the hot water heater wasn’t turned on. Very dirty and unusual things beeping waking us during the night which warranted our early departure. Took host 5 hours to respond as to what was beeping when fire alarm was so new it had a bag over it! Yikes! "
Secluded 3-Acre Retreat – Private King Suite, Full Kitchen, Near Atlantic City!
10/10 Excellent
"The stay was just as listed. The property was expansive. The interior was charming and the grounds went on for acres. Be sure to bring extra toilet paper and paper towels. There are no kitchen towels or hand towel in the downstairs bathroom. There were a few towels in the upstairs bathrooms but towards the end of the trip I did find more towels that had been left in the dryer and not folded or put away. The back door is incredibly hard to lock but it does lock thank heavens. Overall the amount of space and bedrooms were perfect for our group. We had 10 adults and two children. We had brought our own blow up mattress for the kids. Each couple had a bed and the two that were singles had their own pull out sofa bed. Some pots and pans were available so we could save money and make food at home. All the televisions were fully functioning and had a great picture. However being so close to the beach (just a short drive) we spend most our days wave hopping and laying about in the sun. "
