"Silver Spur is a great place to stay as a half way point between Oregon and Idaho. The staff were excellent, the room was comfortable. Not a lot of options to eat, there is a Mexican restaurant, a breakfast place, Safeway and a few food trucks. Hines is close by. It is pet friendly and the rooms are ( upper floor) under maintenence ( construction )..no noise though and very quiet. 4 stars"
"The house was perfectly located to explore the area. The inside was clean, comfortable and well equipped and met our needs very well. The yard was a little rough but our dogs absolutely loved it…and all especially the wildlife. We even had a deer and her fawn visit! We will definitely plan to stay again next time we are in the area!"
"The front desk area was very unwelcoming, not the lady that was buried behind plexiglass, she was nice😊I was so tired when I checked in that I took a nap, when I woke up and found that there were torn pieces of black rubber between the sheets, I just brushed them off thinking nothing of it. Then when I went to go to bed that night I noticed a couple of blood drops on the bottom sheet, I just slept on the other side. I was going to tell the front desk at checkout, but there wasn’t anyone there 😠"
"Clean, comfortable room. Amenities so, so. Toilet was old and hardly above floor level. Mentioned to front desk when checking out and told they would be upgrading. Needs to be done!"
"over-estimated the size of the space from the description, but it was roomy enough for one or two. the bed was comfortable, the space was quiet, and there's a safeway with a starbucks directly across the street to get your day's munchies before hitting the road. It was extra nice that the driveway came right up to the porch, made bringing things in easier, and faster, as I arrived in the midst of a crazy wonderful high desert thunderstorm. My stop in Burns was a single night between two days of driving from California to north Idaho, long drive days for sure, and this place had just what I needed - comfortable bed, peace and quiet, and super easy to find from and then return to the highway. I would stay here again."
