"Had an incredible stay at this cosy hotel/pub! The staff were beyond friendly, making us feel welcomed right from the start. The bed was the epitome of comfort, guaranteeing a good night's sleep after each exciting day. We'll definitely be coming back. The food was nothing short of amazing, with the Sunday carvery being a highlight – it's a hit with the locals too, so a tip for future guests: make sure to book in advance. Overall, a 10/10 experience, easily one of the best places I've stayed at."

"On a fairly quiet road junction, we did experience some road noise early in the morning. The carpark is rough. Staff made an effort to welcome us, offering fresh milk for the room and help with luggage. Rooms were clean but need some updating especially the TV which you couldn't keep plugged in if you wanted to boil a kettle. You have to move the bedside tables to access the sockets by the bed. "The cottage itself is well presented and had everything in it we needed. The décor is well-fitting for the style of property and has a lovely relaxing feel to it. Lovely and clean, and owners were very welcoming. The grounds offer different areas to sit in and we enjoyed a couple of evenings eating/relaxing outside. "Clean and well fitted out (as described) and in a good location for harbour and beach. Friendly staff. I was initially concerned at a lack of information about where we could park, but once we had got to the place to ask, turns out they have a free parking space nearby for guests and we were not rushed out of it when we checked out so we had an extra couple of hours on the harbour with no parking problem. Great to have good air conditioning - gets hot in the attic room - and controllable blinds...
