"The staff was very helpful. Since the only hot breakfast options were oatmeal or making your own waffles, I skipped the breakfast and stopped at the McDonald's a short distance away. The carpet in my room was deep cleaned earlier in the day and was still pretty damp when I was getting ready for bed. The room looked like it was cleaned, but I think the process was interrupted. The bed wasn't as well made as they normally are and there was some toilet paper in the toilet (thankfully nothing else visible there). I'm not sure what that bottle of solution in the shower was. It was labeled as shampoo but it was very watery and didn't lather at all. It was colored and did have a minimal scent, otherwise I would have thought it was just water. There was a large pitcher left in the sink which I presume was used by the person cleaning the carpet, and a small piece of debris on the counter which I figured was also from the carpet cleaning. The bed was comfortable enough and appeared clean. Parking was good and the overall property appeared well maintained."

"Price was right and the property is close to a nice park overlooking the reservoir. It is pretty much what you’d expect in this price range. Continental breakfast would be better if they provided some fruit, yogurt, and juice. Everything worked fine and the room was clean. The large TV and DirectTV was nice."

"Pictures do NOT do it justice, it is so much more!!! Awesome home away home!!! It was so nice to come back from the family cabin and be safe during a storm that came up. This is the place to be at Harlan County Lake. We’ll be back next year!!"

"We have learned to be wary of exterior access motels, so when this one had a 9.4 rating on Expedia, we were skeptical. It turned out to be absolutely worth the great score. Sparkling clean, spacious, with plenty of counter space and outlets and all-new furniture and fixtures, it exceeded our expectations. Definitely a great choice whether you're passing through for one night or staying for a week."
