The host was so sweet and very attentive to all of our needs, which we didn't have any because she had thought of everything. All we had to bring with us was our clothes and bath soap because she furnished everything else including shampoo and conditioner. The host and the house made us feel like we where at home away from home. The location was perfect. It was in a quiet rural neighborhood in the country but...

"Freezer door was broken. Was smaller than we thought it would be...very basic...no lamps and chairs were covered with blankets. Would be great if there a few cleaning supplies just to wipe counters. BUT Location is great!"

"It was a perfect place for my mom’s vacation/ holiday. She’s 96 and this was an easy place for her to stay. The back yard and neighborhood was perfect and we all were happy including the 13 year old dog. My sister lives 1/2 block away and all the family got together at her place for a fun filled thanksgiving. Great place!!!! And clean! Thanks!"

"This home is a gem. The only issue is that the HVAC unit/heat pump couldn't keep the interior temperature above 62 degrees (without using the emergency heat function) on nights when the outside temperature was in the mid-forties."

"This was our second time staying here and it was just as lovely as the first time. We were a little early for fishing but we still tried our best down at the dock! The ducks were migrating north and one day we must've seen thousands of them flying by in a flock for over 30 minutes. It was really interesting and so beautiful- and our dog enjoyed watching them from the dock. If you're looking for a cozy, quaint cottage in a laid back little town, this is the place for you!
