"The owners go above and beyond when you stay here. We had our heli-hike on Franz Josef glacier cancelled due to weather and in passing said to the husband plans had changed. Not long after the wife knocks on our door with a brochure from another company that does the heli-hike on Fox glacier and info advising that she had just rung them and they had vacancies for their hikes and they were flying as it is lower down so bad winds don't affect it as much. The property is close to all the food pubs, cafes with lots of choices to dine at. The accommodation we stayed in had 1 bedroom and another bed in the living area, It had a little kitchen area, dining table and lounge. It had enough space for 4 adults to use and very clean. We arrived just before 8pm and the owners were still in the office waiting for us and again when we left a few days later when we left earlier than the office opens. They are very knowledgeable and happy to offer suggestions and help."

"This hotel was in a great location, just a few minutes walking distance to the main strip and the grocery store. There is a short walking trail close by where you can see glow worms in the wild. Reception will even lend you a flashlight! I would happily stay here again."
