Charming quiet and non-smoking,
Boat rental available.
Private 3 bedrooms 1 Bath, 1King, 2 Queen, and a folding sofa.
There's a Pontoon for rent for boat-knowledgeable people.
We supplement with everything you need the first night regarding coffee and toiletries. Bring your PRIVATE toiletries.
If you are several people or going out on the water you should bring some more towels
There is a FREE paddle boat sitting on the dock.
The house has a kitchen with everything you need and an ice machine in the fridge. There is a gas grill on the porch. We also have a fire pan down by the water, where you need to bring your firewood.
We have a Restaurant and Dollar store right across the lake.
If you choose to rent the boat, you may want to bring private life vests.
If you forget yours we have them available!
The rental part is in the mid-level of the building. The top floor is closed off and belongs to the owner who is NOT present when the house is rented out. In the basement, there is a storm room for your safety in case of need.

You have backyard access to the Lake and the dock. Our pontoon is available to rent by appointment per day or for longer terms. Quiet place to get away from home and enjoy the lake and it's private and far away from our stressed world. Boating, swimming, golf, zip line, hiking, or just a quiet time for a couple...
** If you have a special event, Anniversary, Birthday, or such, we do offer a gift basket for $35.00 that includes 2 wine glasses a bottle of wine or non-alcoholic drink, fruit, cheese, and individual candies, and a rose. * Please let us know 24 hours in advance.
ATTRACTIONS

The Lake Home is only minutes from Historic Main Street Hardy, The Spring River, and Restaurants. Popular are the Ice Cream and Gourmet Coffee shops. Art Museums, Antique stores, and live music shows. The Spring River offers canoe rentals and parks for the whole family.

Cherokee Village is a Family Friendly Community that offers Natural Ozark Beauty, 2 Private 18-hole golf courses, 6 Swimming pools, a private beach, and tennis courts. Canoe rentals and RV parks are nearby.

The Lake home was built in 2010 and has a charm it selves, and you will find yourselves at home when you hit the front door. WiFi and TV/DVD. Just a block from downtown Cherokee Village. Short distance to Walmart and all you need for your stay.

Ask for a price to rent a pontoon to enjoy the water go tubing or other water sports/fun Or just hit a quiet place go fishing!
It seats 8 people and has a 40 hp engine and comfortable couch.
Stereo with, microphone for using your cell phone onboard. Blue tooth, and direct connection for streaming your own music, etc.


Check-in is at 2 pm and check-out is at 10 am.

Great Place for a Quick Getaway

The place was clean, and had everything we needed for our 4 day stay. Fish weren't biting, but we still had a great time. Will definitely look to staying here again and renting the pontoon next time. Thanks for hosting us.

Lake house Retreat

Everything was great! The only glitch was being given the wrong code to get in, causing a good deal of anxiety after a long trip and a full bladder. Resolved fairly quickly though.

The home is beautiful from the grounds to the interior. The mattress are so great. It was a home away from home. We got lost on our way there. The owner was so helpful getting us to the home. We have recommended to our friends as well. I would suggest a memory book in the home. We also recommend Carol diner.

Thunderbird Lake Ground floor rental

We enjoyed our stay here on the Thunderbird Lake rental. My husband’s only negative point was the sharp decline to the ground floor from the parking area. He has trouble with the incline coming back up. We brought a motorized cart but it would not go up the steep incline. Otherwise it would have been perfect. The inside accommodations were clean, modern and nicely decorated.

Weekend Getaway

The condo was nice and a beautiful location - very relaxing. We did have some difficulty finding it, but if I had read the instructions sent the day of our visit and not just looked for the key code we wouldn't have had any issues. They did provide instructions on how to get to the correct house, I just didn't read them. We had an issue with the smoke alarm battery in the upstairs unit going off, but when we texted the contact they were very responsive and came out and fixed it. We would stay her again.

Holiday Weekend

Property inside is as listed. I would suggest the owners clean the deck table and chairs along with fold out chairs and pergola area…especially that area. Better yet, just replace the fold out chairs altogether. Take your own lawn chairs for that area is my advice unless the owners replace them. The area under the lower deck and alongside the house with the small wooded area need a general cleanup as does the landscaping. It would greatly improve the overall appearance of the property with minimal effort. I would skip renting the old pontoon and rent one from the marina. If the newer pontoon in some of the listing photos ever gets repaired, it may be fine. The location of the property is at the end of a cove which I personally like and the deck is shaded most of the time so no blistering sun in your face. Overall, I would rent the property again without the pontoon.

Wasn't what we expected.

CONS: We were under the impression we were getting the entire house. The day of travel we received the check in information and found out that we were actually only renting a portion of the house that looks like a garage conversion. We were told there wouldnt be anyone in the other part of the house during our stay which was a plus. The space was not comfortable for our family of 6. It was clean and would have been perfect if we had a smaller party. There are only 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom so we always had someone waiting for the bathroom. The paddle boat did not have a cover like pictured which made for a HOT short trip on the water. Also, there really is no access to and from the water at the dock. One of the things that really kind of surprised us was the amount of security cameras that pointed at the common areas of the property. Even the neighbors cameras point right at the deck. It felt a little invasive. There is a camera pointing right at you as you pull in the driveway, a camera at the boat dock pointed at the boat, dock and property and then of course the neighbors camera pointed right at the deck. And another camera on the deck above pointed right at the yard and dock. We completely understand the desire to protect your property.. especially if it is a second home and you dont live there full time. However, when you are renting it out I think it is important to respect the privacy of the guests. There are no board games but walmart is not far from the house... we just ran and got some. PROS: the house has a beautiful view day or night. It is in a cove so there isn't much boat traffic. It is at the end of the dead end road so there is pretty much no vehicle traffic. It would have been perfect for a couple wanting a weekend getaway. The beds were comfortable (bring your own pillows) they did have wifi, Netflix and roku which was nice and thoughtful. There is a gas grill on the deck. The place is decorated nice and would be perfect if my husband and I wanted to ditch our teenagers and spend some time alone. Overall we made it work and enjoyed our time together as a family which is the most important thing.
