"We had a big and beautifull room with a big and comfy bed. The bathroom was also spacious with a big enclosed shower, great for not showeing the hole bathroom and everything in it while taking a shower.
Our room was on the 3 floor so we had a nice view over the pool with palm trees.
We did not use the pool that much. It is a tiny pool with only 4 sunbeds so you have to be early to get a spot. But its only 10 min walking to the beach.

"Sehr schönes Gelände mit viel Grün und Bäumen, man fühlt sich wie in einer Oase. Die Bungalows sind gut verteilt und bieten Privatsphäre. Der Pool ist ein Plus wenn gerade Ebbe ist und das Meer zu flach zum Schwimmen. Der Strand ist direkt um die Ecke und ein absoluter Traum, es gibt viel Schatten, feinsten Sand und ein nettes Restaurant, sodass man gar nicht weg muss.

"Ignore the old reviews- this place has had a makeover and for the price, it’s excellent.
You can’t get closer to the beach, the area is quiet but still with enough shops/ cafes and restaurants. Good air con, hot shower with good temperature, clean bedding and room.
We stayed here for two nights over new years to head to the FMP, it was about 300 baht ew pp for a taxi there and also about 300 baht pp to the pier - but it’s much nicer than staying in Haad Rin if you’re a couple. And the beach...

"We had an amazing stay at Yangdai. Everything was top notch and the quality of service by the staff was well above the call of duty. Mr. Ping made sure to coordinate anything we needed on the island (taxi, excursions, restaurants, event tickets, etc) and even drove us to the ferry port himself when we were making bad timing. "The hotel is beautiful. The pool looking onto the beach is stunning. Reception staff are super friendly. Not great for solo travellers if you want a really social vibe and to meet people with activities etc, there is one dorm. The hotel hosts large groups of young travellers. Its sometimes feels like they take over the hotel. They have BBQs, quizzes, parties etc and the rest of the hotel is excluded.
