Absolutely beautiful hotel and grounds. The room we stayed in was dated but comfortable with tea/coffee/water etc. There is a nearby complex with a supermarket, bars, restaurants and cafes. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly apart from in the main restaurant which was really strange! Breakfast overall was pretty poor, it wasnโ€™t just the service that let it down.

Nice option om Harare

A very nice hotel in a fine location. Beautiful garden and buildings. Fine restaurant. Very nice staff. Two pools. Not sure they were cleaned every day.

The property is beautiful and well-maintained. However, the customer service could be improved. Staff did not take the time to explain amenities such as breakfast or inform me that dinner was available on-site. I ended up leaving the property to purchase dinner elsewhere, only to find out later it was offered here. Better communication and attention to guests would make a big difference. Every customer should feel valued and informed.

An amazing stay, comfortable, friendly staff and very professional. Bronte hotel is quite scenic, lovely grounds and the atmosphere is relaxing. Also conveniently placed near the city centre with health facilities across the road. Great WiFi, great food. Good value for money. A great place to stay in Harare!

The best hotel in Harare. I spent 10 wonderful days in the hotel. The surroundings are charming, parking, security, 1 minute to the shopping center but very quiet area. The service is at the highest level, all staff are very nice and helpful, the food is wonderful (especially breakfast) and the cleaning service is polite, super fast and very thorough. The rooms are well equipped and very clean. Thank you to the whole staff for making my stay pleasant.

Whenever we go back to Hahare we always stay at the Bronte. The staff members are friendly and we enjoy the beautiful botanical garden like compound. I also recommend it for a small function. We did a 40 people session and the price was reasonable with tea/coffee/snacks.

My experience at the Bronte

The Bronte is the only hotel I stay in when in Harare. The peaceful gardens are so tranquil and relaxing after a day of meetings. The staff are professional, friendly and helful. The food is really good and presented with an artisitic touch. I recommend the Bronte as the place to stay when in Harara.

Beautiful, peaceful place

Absolutely gorgeous, park-like grounds, with pretty, fragrant flowers and other plantings. Bullfrogs were partying into the night! (Didn't bother me at all - they were fun and not near my room - the ponds are in front just outside reception.) Very quiet apart from them. Fantastic service - friendly and helpful, including housekeeping. Central location. Nice gym and two pools. Decor is classic rather than modern. Breakfast was good but could have used more variety. Dinner was very good the one night we ate there. A few small common issues with older hotels like this (even ones generally well kept up): not enough outlets especially by the bed, some outlets were a little janky, and the ceiling fan was a little wobbly at speed (though didn't seem at all at risk of falling).

Recommend by a friend, and such a good call. Welcoming and helpful staff, a laundry service , good food and any tiny issue sorted immediately. Lovely gardens and a quiet position. We would definitely stay here again.
