"This little house was perfect for our long weekend in Etna California. Very close to town but cozy and quiet. In the morning deer would be eating grass in the backyard. The kitchen is very well stocked and plenty of seating. Didn’t get to use the fireplace, but it looked cute. We would definitely stay here again. "

"I booked this accommodation around 3 PM, and only after 5 PM did the host inform me that they had overbooked and offered me a completely different room—not what I reserved. When I arrived around 6:30 PM, the host literally yelled at me like a lunatic, claiming there were no rooms left, without giving me a chance to speak or explain. The situation was absurd and shocking. As a result, I was left without a place to stay and didn’t find a hotel until after 10 PM. To make things worse, I contacted the host for a refund and received no response. I also reached out to the platform, and they said the host refused to issue a refund. This is completely outrageous and unacceptable. I highly suspect this isn’t the first time this host has done something like this. Avoid this listing at all costs."

"This is a charming, historic property. It is off the beaten track on purpose, so there are no TVs and Wi-Fi is spotty. The dining room only serves breakfast, but it is FANTASTIC. The common lobby space has puzzles, a fireplace and lots of room to sit and play games or read. The view from the hotel over the Klamath River is gorgeous, and there is a hot tub, so bring your bathing suit. This property is right in the middle of Redwood National Park, so it's a great central place from which to take day trips south or north depending on the hikes or towns you wish to visit. Finally, the road that the end is on dead ends in a lookout where the sunsets over the Pacific Ocean are spectacular."

"What a fun and unique place! From the treehouse cabins to the bridges, swing, and zip lines. The natural pool was amazing as well. Oh, and the breakfast!!! Homemade fresh quiche, cheesy potato pie, fresh baked breads, pastries, and eggs. The BEST continental breakfast I have ever seen!!"

"This was in the middle of the Redwood National and State Forest. We explored so many awesome trails. It is remote, so if you are looking for finer food and beer, you have to be willing to drive 20 minutes north to Crescent City. This was a perfect base camp for us."
