"I liked the oldy Worldy feel of this place, the sloping floors were fun in the middle of the night, I also liked the price, but a bit of a pain to have to leave your room in middle of the night to take a leak, but hey itâs cheap.
We also dined there and the food was really good, couldnât eat all the ribs, it was a monstrous amount! đ. Would I stay againâŠyes!"
"Location is fantastic! View across a meadow to the 1000 year old harbor and historic Ribe with the cathedral towering above it all. Somewhat basic accommodations, but everything was sparkling clean and worked. And the breakfast was delicious and very well stocked."
"If you enjoy staying in small friendly hotels that are old Danish then this is a nice place. The restaurant is dark wood paneling from another time. Books and pictures from long ago decorate the dinning room. The food is very good and good quality. I recommend having dinner on the first night. We had dinner there each night of our three night stay. "

10/10 Excellent
"Meget venligt og hjÊlpsomt personale. Helt fantastisk morgenmad. Det negative at lyset tÊndte automatisk i gang og pÄ toilettet. Generede for den, som man delte vÊrelse med om natten og ogsÄ for en selv, nÄr man skulle op og tisse og ikke havde lyst til at vÄgne af den grund

"Amazingly renovated building. excellent accomodations. clean and well anointed. great game room . Unique decor of the main hallway. Think Lalandia reproduction of outdoor visuals. Our room lacked fans or airconditioning but had good windows (no screens) . Kitchen was excellent. Overall an excellent stay. "
"unique property with lots of character and history. Beautiful main building common areas. Well maintained and clean. the Royal apartment side of the main building is older and the configuration of 2nd floor main bathroom is paradoxical, effectively isolating one of the bedrooms. Kitchen is small and associated with a small servant type bedroom. Overall a unque and worthwhile experience to live like nobility of that age. "
"This is a lovely little inn and staying in such a historic building was a great experience. I loved the wonky floors, low ceilings, antique furniture and art. It's also in a great location right on the main square, although this means it can be a little noisy outside. I thought the price was good value for money too. This is not the place to stay if you have any kind of mobility problem or you really care about privacy, though. The stairs are nearly vertical, more like a ladder than a staircase, and pretty challenging to get a suitcase up. Obviously, there's no lift, as it's a medieval building. And there is just one toilet and one shower shared between all guests, with the sink out on the landing, so you do come into a lot of contact with your neighbours at Weis Stue! The walls between the rooms are also very thin, so you can hear even if people are just talking normally. I didn't get a chance to eat in the restaurant downstairs, but it looks lovely. I would definitlely stay here again when I'm in Ribe."
"The rate for Denmark is very good, the room although small was clean and functional. The shower room is a bit like a ship's bathroom, so small but clean."
"Very charming hotel. Only issue was no elevator. Tough to bring my suitcase up the narrow stairs. Other than that, well appointed and decorated. Good customer service and great location. "
"Staff were friendly, professional & helpful. Hotel is charming and right by the historic town square. Breakfast buffet and seating area are excellent. "
"Characteristic old hotel in the very old town of Ribe. It felt like we went back in time. The shared bathroom for 3 rooms worked fine. Loved the slanted floors. Owner is friendly and fun. The breakfast was good and filling. We loved the whole experience.
Free car parking outside the old town was great. "
