"We loved this cozy cabin. It had a rustic feel but was updated enough to be comfortable. Location was great, felt isolated but still close enough to town. Peace and quiet on the frozen lake. "My partner and I stayed for a snowy weekend away and it was absolutely perfect! The pictures do not do the view nor the coziness of the cabin justice, we could not have asked for a better place to stay to unwind! The place was very clean with plenty of water, kitchen supplies, and wood provided with detailed instructions for use. As we went during the winter months the road up to the cabin can be a bit dicey, but with 4-wheel drive it was definitely manageable. Brenda was a very responsive host...

"Beautiful cabin, very close to Sunday River and town. Had everything we needed and the hot tub and fireplace were nice after a long day skiing. We booked the private chef for dinner one night and it was an amazing meal- highly recommended!"

"My girlfriend and I loved this camp! The view from the dock is one we won’t forget. Canoeing around the pond and up the river was fun. We hiked a few of the many trails in the area. We curled up with good books during a rainy morning. And, we enjoyed exploring Bethel. We couldn’t ask for anything more from a camp in Maine. Thank you so much for welcoming us to the camp. "Had an overall wonderful 3 night stay! The cabin is super cute and cozy with everything you’d want for a weekend away. Everything was very clean, well kept, and stocked with necessities. "This is probably one of the best VRBOs i have stayed in. Everything was clean, there was plenty of house hold items to get us started, and the property was well kept. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. The location is perfect, it feels secluded and quite yet is close to restaurants and Sunday River Ski area. I would absolutely return to this property or any of the others this owner has."
