The Halong Bay Sapa package that the hotel organized for us was better than what we expected. They pick us up and drop us off at the hotel. Breakfast was included, airport drop off was also included, what a great value deal. We found out many other small travel agents on the street selling crazy cheap tours but we were still replied on the Atrium, you should know you will get what you pay for. This hotel is really do good service.

Great hotel in Ha Noi old quarter. There are a lot of shops and restaurants near by. Staff were very helpful and friendly to accommodate our travel plans. Rooms are decent and tidy, would recommend this place!

I stayed here for just one night. There is escalator but we needed to climb up the stairs to reach the lift. The staff didn't even offer help. The lift is really small. With just 2 persons and a luggage, it'll be fully loaded. I actually didn't feel safe while in the lift. Room isn't sound proof. Stay was ok for the price paid. I didn't get a chance to explore the area as I checked in at 11pm and checked out at 7am on the next day.

Hotel close to the old quarter in hanoi
The hotel is close to the old quarter in ha noi. Less than a mile to the famous Sword Lake. If you like anthentic vietnamese food, you come to the right area. The room is big enough for 4 people. The cleaniness is ok to me. You can't expect a lot for a reasonable price. I definitely come back to this hotel when i visit ha noi.

Not all rooms are created equal.
I have stayed at the Atrium several times, and will again. This particular room was way too warm, even with the AC, although the outside temperature was quite cool. I'll book a better room next time.

Second stay. Feels like home.
Our first experience was great so we came back. Just as good the second time. We got to check in early after arriving on an overnight train. Getting to know the neighborhood - close to everything in the old quarter.

Inexpensive, pleasant stay in the Old Quarter
Not a 5-star hotel by any stretch of the imagination, but it lived up to all my expectations and had a friendly, helpful staff besides. Some difficulty communicating, but patience on both sides works. I'll be back.

Avoid.
We were faced with booking here as a result of extending our stay in Hanoi for our Ha Long Bay cruise and our previous hotel being full. While the location was a short walk from where we were previously staying, I would not recommend this hotel!!! It has bones that would suggest once being a beautiful place but present day its falling apart and dated. Between the uncleaned washroom, to the elevator only being large enough for one person to being startled at 10 pm as the staff on site decided to start drilling and construction, it was a terrible one night stay! The worst part was when many (read: everyone) had to leave their rooms and beg the construction crew to stop drilling after the reception desk staff dismissed each persons' complaint. Many of us had early travel plans and I was abosoutely taken aback that we (and the reminder of the hotel guests) had to be the one's to beg for the construction to stop, which was no easy feat. Very unprofessional and frustrating experience - WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Quiet Colonial style
I moved to this hotel after a bad experience at another Hanoi hotel. I chose the Atrium because it had a lift. Because of its old Colonial atrium style it is a very quiet hotel with no traffic/street noise entering the bedrooms. The staff and owner went out of their way to make my visit and experience in their hotel a positive one. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and look forward to staying there again after thry commence their planned renovations.

Good location in old quarters
Apart from the excellent location in downtown Hanoi, this hotel has quiet rooms. However, a major drawback is the lack of natural light (no windows) and some bulbs needing replacement. Water pressure is low in the top flocons but is adequate in the lower ones. If you get the rooms at discounted price, it is then worth the investment.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The room was large & spacious. The bathroom was ok just quite old and in need of a bit of renovation. Nothing particularly wrong with it though. Breakfast is available at a small cost but turned out to be bread or vegetables so we didn't bother. free tea & coffee whenever you wanted.

Maybe it was just our room because the other reviews seem OK, but personally our stay here was not great. Room was dirty, shower broken and leaking, air con stopped working, wifi unusable. We've had much better for less money.

Good hotel. Room were spacious. Clean. Hot shower working well. Even though we didn't get connecting room, they accommodate the best they can by giving 2 rooms side by side. Breakfast selection were ok. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location bit secluded from the hustle and busy old quarter. But within walking distance to do the shopping. However not so near to water puppet theatre (took at least 15-20 mins to walk) The only setbacks we face were delayed pick up at the airport. Despite arranging airport transfer well before hand with them, there was NO ONE to meet us at the airport, until i contacted them through the fb messenger (luckily we got free wifi at the airport) and then they got me a driver (at least 30 mins waiting and wandering aimlessly). Then when we arrived at the hotel, we were met with warm smile from the lady owner of the hotel. There was delay in check in because of somr misunderstanding about the booking that we made through Expedia. Overall, the hotel was ok for us, given the price that we pay.

Convenient and comfortable hotel
The staff at Atrium was fantastic. Always smiling with a willingness to help and make your stay a memorable one. Despite being in the center of old towns chaotic crowds, the hotel was a quick quiet getaway close to everything in the backpacker area. The was a cheap restaurant on the corner right across the street (sorry I don't remember the name) with cheap and delicious sandwiches and seafood pasta. The room was clean although there was mold all over the ceiling our first two nights. We asked to switch and we're given another room which was much better but still smelled musty. The breakfast was good with free viet coffee and they whip up some great omelets. Good room for the price if you want to stay in old town.

Old Hotel needs renovation
We stayed 4 nights in Atrium hotel. It was ok, hotel is well located, rooms are clean, beds are large, 2 bottles of water etc... But I could not sleep for 2 nights because of the noise of the air condition vent (evacuation air) installed on the outside wall of the hotel. It was making a lot of noise, you can not sleep with that, and it was not even our air condition box as we did not use it...

Staff was awesome
We loved the location...it was walking distance to EVERYTHING. Staff was helpful in every way possible. Gentleman made us eggs every morning. If they saw us with suitcases they offered to take them for us right away. Rooms were relatively clean....bathrooms were adequate. The sheets felt damp but that was only because the humidity in Vietnam was like 150%. We travelled with 2 kids & this hotel was very accommodating. All in all...we were very pleased with the staff. We had 4 rooms rented and everyone was happy. Thanks Atrium staff & management.

hotel is up to the western standard, good hotel
hotel is clean, staff very friendly. i booked a sapa express bus that is external to the hotel. sapa express never came to pick me up and left the town even though the staff called many times sapa express. i should have book my bus with the hotel.

Comfort for a low price
It was great. No hassle check in in. The staffs were all friendly and helpful. Good location, walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake and Dong Xuan Market where apparells were sold at a lowest price. We will definitely stay again.

The hotel was located close to every where you want to go in the old quarter. Most of Ha Noi attractions are within walking distance. This place is hard for a taxi to get to during the night market.

Centrally located in old town Hoanoi
Located in very busy part o the old town, but noise never a problem - bedroom located at back of hotel away from the road. Ideal if you want an authentic 'feel' of the old town, if you want a 5* location probably not for you. Staff were excellent and always available and willing to please. Currency conversion and travel arrangement services willingly provided.

Great hotel, Superb Location, Highly Recommended
Can't speak highly enough of this excellent hotel. Located pretty much in the heart of the Old Quarter and only five minutes away from the fascinating night market. The streets can be a bit difficult to navigate at first, but the hotel is relatively easy to find. The staff are incredibly helpful, able to offer advice and suggest places to eat and visit. Hotels feels quite small and cosy - very homely and the rooms are excellent. Comfy beds, nice bathroom which is stocked well with shampoo and shower gels. Breakfast is good, has a wide choice. Mostly buffet but some of it can be made to order (usually eggs). Hotel are able to organise trips and book taxis. Would definitely stay here again if I came back to Hanoi

So it was at a good location, in te old quater near a lot of things. However I didn't have have hot water to shower with and the wifi was iffy at times. Both of those things were rather annoying. Besides that the room was clean and the staff was nice enough, they help with your bags which is great.

Good hotel at a good price.
For folks who want to be in the midst of the action, this is a fine, affordable, comfortable hotel in the Old Town of Hanoi. I found the staff -- mostly young folks -- to be very accommodating. My room was more than nice for the price, although the ceiling did have a crack or two in it, but nothing was not as it should be. (Maybe the AC could have been a bit quieter, but I finally got the hang of those controls.) Breakfast was not outstanding, but if you are in Hanoi, go have some street side Pho instead. It's close to all the strange shopping streets (one nearby street I named "adhesive tape street" because that's what all the shops seemed to be selling) and it's close to the big market. Well worth the stay.
