The property is beautiful and quiet. Everything you need and more is available. Would be a perfect rental for a larger group or family gathering as it has lots of space indoors and out. Close to an endless supply of hiking trails and parks.

House was very clean and very well equipped with everything you could need and even toiletries we didn’t expect. Hot tub was awesome! Great spot for stars and northern lights viewing. About a 15 minute scenic drive to the nearest 2 towns which was perfect and lots of hiking trails and waterfalls within 30 mins.

We loved our stay! This house is immaculate and stocked with everything you need. The view is breath-taking! We loved using the hot tub and fire pit on cool Michigan nights. The boardwalk leads down to the beach where we felt like we had the entire beach to ourselves. We definitely recommend this home and would love to go back!

There is nothing like being on the water. Some days it was calm with no waves, others , just the gentle sounding swish of the water meeting the shore and a couple with about 1 foot waves. Just loved it all.

We rented this property for a snowmobile trip to the U.P. In early Feb. There was not enough snow to ride so we just drove up and enjoyed the cabin. Cabin was great! Well stocked, hot tub was great, cabin was spacious. Overall great experience!!

What a perfect slice of paradise. Most well stocked kitchen in a rental that I’ve ever seen. Also the most accommodating. If I had to nit pick, the beds were too soft but there was even toilet paper and laundry detergent there. We will definitely be going back

Worth every penny! Anything you think you might need is already there. Home is beautiful and spotless. Hot tub and massage chair were a treat and all the wood for campfires that we needed. Perfect place to rock hunt and a lot of other things to do. We had a great time and will definitely book again.

The house was beautiful, well stocked and overlooked the beach with beautiful sunsets. We were there with our daughter and son-in-law and 5 year old granddaughter and 6 year old grandson. The kids appreciated the toys that were available to play with. They provided all the cooking equipment you’d need to cook in. There were beach towels and extra hygiene products (toothbrushes/paste, shaving razors, etc). The house was exceptionally clean! The host was very responsive if you had any needs. We would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is gorgeous, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and view of Lake Superior. Our older sons had planned on staying at a ski resort but no snow! So they stayed with us. We fit our family of 9 no problem which was wonderful. We had bonfires every night and even one on the beach! The views are spectacular. We will definitely be back, thank you!

The trees were changing colors and the area is beautiful.
The view of Lake Superior is stunning! Being able to walk down the steps to the beach was relaxing and private. We enjoyed the waves and rock hounding. The house is new and spotless with everything you could ask for. Once we sign onto their wi-fi we all had full service on our cell phones and laptop. We enjoyed the hot tub which was super clean also. Really nice firepit with wood supplied. Birds and a few chipmunk visitors in the mornings with coffee. Would love to go back!

From the quick responses of the host to the beauty, comfy-ness and cleanliness of the house, and the gorgeous outdoor setting, this place was top notch.
Just about everything you need in order to have an enjoyable vacation was provided.
We absolutely loved the beach and lake, enjoyed walks along the beach rock hunting (found a handful of yooperlites & one uranium glass) and paddle boarding on the lake. There was not one drop of rain during our whole stay.
The excursions we went on included visiting downtown Houghton, the Hungarian Falls, The Jam Lady, The Jampot, Copper Harbor and Canyon Falls.
We would consider staying here in the future, but not if we’re traveling with our dogs, since they’re no longer allowed at this rental.
Greatly appreciate the hosts’ hospitality and providing a perfect stay for our family and pups. Every day felt as if we were in paradise! (:

This was a great property with lots of activities nearby. Only negative aspects were very nit-picky and should not deter enjoying this property. These are the little items that just likely need addressed.
Single Ply TP...no one likes this on vacation, but may be an issue with the propery to ensure less clogging.
Some doors did not latch directly unless you lifted up on them.
BBQ was not out and had to be drug out of the shed during Memorial Day weekend which I expected to be just out and ready to go for a holiday weekend.
Backyard could be better maintained for weeds
With all that being said, everything else about this property was spot on, well communicated with the host, and overall a great experience. You will not be dissapointed with the view of Lake Superior and the access to the beach. Would definately stay here again!

We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and looking for rocks on the beach. We loved seeing all the deer in the area. We hope to return again during the warmer months!
