Mixed bag
Just a one night stay....overall condition was good with comfortable bed and clean decor....was a mixture ofvold and new fir example these days you dont ofen have an electric free standing range in the kitchen ....bathroom had decent shower but some of the fittings were rathet old and you could not lock the bathroom door...overall reasonable place to stay bit pricy though...think there would better options for next time

Stayed in a Clean and spacious 1 bedroom unit. Fitted 3 adults and 2 little children well with room to move around. Very helpful staff

The property was nice and clean and the manager was very helpful. It’s like stepping back in time about 50 years with original decor and appliances. Could do with an update but it was a quiet place to spend the night.

Felt sorry for the owners with the driveway access being closed with road works out on the main road . Spa pool way too hot but we enjoyed all the same .

The motel unit satisfied my needs at the time. However the unit is well overdue for an update. Old legge door catches; shower base must be 20 years old as is the hand basin. Sadly too many people who currently own motels appear to be more interested in putting the profits in their back pocket instead of re-vitalising their asset. Cant take the money with you when you die,

Pleasant Stay
The Cambrian Lodge Motel is a pleasant place to stay for a couple of nights. This is not an overly large Motel and does appear a little 'tired' in appearance. General up-dating would be beneficial. There is a Spa and a Outdoor pool (un heated) for use. The owners were pleasant and helpful offering daily cleaning and replacement of towels. It would be beneficial if there was information provided within the rooms about the facilities, contact information in event of emergency and local shopping/dining options, tourist information etc.

Great location, lady at reception was very friendly grumpy old guy in there wasn't. Room was VERY outdated and unclean. Bed was clean thankfully but would not stay there again.

It's getting quite hard to find affordable accommodation motel so we didn't mind too much that this place wasn't quote up to standard. It is tired and dated, but we had a spacious unit and it was very quiet. The owners/management were friendly. The exterior is very plain with no gardens, just one potted plant. Overall a bit of attention would bring this motel up to a more inviting standard.
