Your group is 4 minutes to Mill Creek Trailhead, one of the most gorgeous hikes in all of Montana on beautiful Mill Creek sandwiched between towering rock walls (see photos), 8 minute drive to the famous Bitterroot River, road biking trails that go all the way to Missoula and more mountain biking trails than you’ll have time to ride for the single track enthusiast. The Lake Como trail to the waterfall goes all the way around the lake with soaring mountains that appear to grow right out of the water. Immaculate home nestled in the Mtns of the Bitterroot Valley in MT. Amazing views, animals, amenities and superb communications with property managers. 100% would go there again.
Stephanie & Ryan did a fantastic job from start to finish making sure all questions and accomodations were met/exceeded. Their beautiful, and well kept house, was a perfect getaway for our large family.
We had a really great time at the house - multigenerational family reunion. The house was so well stocked and they had everything we needed and more. The location was convenient and the views were breathtaking.
This house is more of a resort! The house is beautiful, the property is breathtaking. With a family of kids ages 2-16, there was SO much to keep everyone having fun. The little touches at the house made it special. I would HIGHLY recommend!
This house is amazing....room for everyone! Clean, fully equipped, beautiful surroundings, great communication with owner, and all around fantastic trip. I highly recommend this property to anyone that wants to relax and enjoy the wildlife while sitting drinking your first cup of coffee in the morning. Bonus: this house has a fully equipment gymnasium!!! We are all hooked on pickleball now!!!
This rental was absolutely perfect in every way. The home and property are beautiful; a gorgeous setting; spotlessly clean; so many amenities that were perfect for our family of 11. We spent each morning and evening on the patio and hot tub soaking in the mountain view. Several nice hiking trails nearby and Hamilton is conveniently close. Easy drive from Missoula airport. Stephanie responds to inquiries very quickly. Would love to come back!
The Lodge at Mill Creek is spectacular! The house was super clean and beautifully furnished. We stayed 8 nights for a family gathering and were completely amazed by the amenities offered. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking and fishing in the pond; playing all kinds of games in the gym and house; the hot tub; fire pit and just lounging on the lovely patois with terrific views! The house was really well stocked with supplies. Stephanie and Ryan were exceptionally responsive to any questions or needs. Can’t say enough good things about this property! Highly recommend!
We have rented many VRBO properties and this location,
home amenities and communication with the owners was impressive. Thank you Stephanie and Ryan for your over the top hospitality. We greatly appreciated the fully stocked stocked kitchen pantry, coffee bar, snacks when we arrived and a truly exceptional peaceful location.
Everyone in our family was so impressed and delighted.
All the best!!
At first this property may seem pricey, but it’s worth every penny. The view from the porches are magnificent and we saw deer, turkeys, a black bear and a moose crossing in the backyard. We had children from age 1 to 9 and the gym provided hours of entertainment. Even the adults had a 5 on 5 basketball game. This is a first class gym. The house itself is fully stocked and comfortable with a media room and plenty of games available.
Hamilton is a lovely town with plenty of shops and restaurants. Some of our group went horseback riding, white water rafting, riverboarding, swimming in the pond. Can’t say enough about the property and location, worth every penny!
We chose to have our small private wedding here at Stephanie and Ryan‘s place and it exceeded every expectation we had! The pictures on the listing do not do this place justice. The backyard and the front yard views of the mountains are absolutely breathtaking and we could not have dreamt of a better background for our wedding ceremony. It was so so special to us both to have our parents, sisters and their families all under one roof while we enjoyed the most unforgettable, magical weekend of our lives. Stephanie and Ryan have truly thought of everything to make this a spectacular place to stay in Montana. We loved the views so much, and everything The house had to offer, that We barely left the property. We played countless games of Pickleball in the gym, cooked dinner every night in the huge amazing kitchen and spent hours each night, talking on the patio and around the fire. I would 10/10 recommend this property to anyone and everyone. If I had to give one piece of feedback or advisory information, it would be that the bathroom situation is less than ideal for a 5BR home. There is only one bathroom on the lower level for 3 bedrooms and the bunk room which made it a little challenging for 3 families to use. However, there are two and a half additional bathrooms upstairs that everyone could use plus the one in the master bedroom so it all worked out fine. We are just used to en suite bathrooms. So, just set your expectations with this in mind so you’re not surprised.
We returned home last night from our stay here. Our family of 15 loved this home! We range in age from 8-66. The layout of the house was perfect for our group - being together yet having spaces for everyone to do their own thing when needed. We loved the game room and spent a lot of time there. We loved the coffee bar (one of our group took on making everyone a morning latte). We loved the huge kitchen and that most of our group could sit at a counter, chatting with our family cooking crew and not be in the way. We loved having a second fridge. We loved being able to put the wet clothes in the dryer. The media room was used to settle us in after a day of playing and an excellent way for some of our ADHD folks to have an opportunity to dial things down a little. Not to mention, there is a full-scale basketball court (aka pickleball court, aka obstacle course, aka volleyball practice court) to play in. We played in the yard when it snowed, sled down the hills, and built our snowmen right there. We went for trail hikes nearby. We sat around the outdoor fire pit with sticks, graham crackers, and marshmallows. Our teenagers want to move there! The icing on top was our hosts; Stephanie and Ryan were fantastic and thoughtful. Stephanie was so helpful before the trip, and she and Ryan have everything there you'd need to play, hang out, skate, fish, sled, snowshoe--everything! I would rate them and this location 10 out of 10 stars.
We stayed at the Lodge at Mill Creek for an incredible 7 days over the 4th of July week. Our group consisted of four couples from Georgia and Florida, all in our early 60s and great friends. The home was exactly as advertised but even better.
The main level features two bedrooms, each with its own full bath, while downstairs, there are two more bedrooms that share a full bath. There are also bunk beds downstairs, though we did not use them.
The kitchen is amazing, with two large islands and everything you need. The large pantry off the kitchen was fantastic. We cooked dinner in for three nights, using the Traeger grill, which was fantastic. We also cooked breakfast in several mornings. There was a nice area to set up a bar. We purchased some martini glasses and a shaker during our trip and left them for other guests to use in the future.
The Lodge has a beautiful pool table and media room as advertised. There is also a coffee bar area outside the kitchen, which was very nice and convenient.
While the kitchen was amazing and I would rate it a "10," our favorite area was the porch. It is a "10+." We enjoyed morning coffee while taking in the beautiful views. Wild turkeys, quail, and several deer roamed the property.
In the evenings, we enjoyed cocktails on the porch and played gin. It was truly spectacular.
Lastly, the hot tub and gym were amazing. We highly recommend the Lodge at Mill Creek for a memorable vacation experience.
Pictures don't do this property justice! We were all nearly speechless when we arrived. Such serene beauty!
We spent hours outside on the covered patio, marveling at the view. We never got tired of watching the sun glisten upon the pond and the trees and sky reflected in its peaceful water. We gathered around the big table for cards, or sat in the chaise lounge and watched the kids at Corn Hole or on the swings, or even down at the dock, gliding along in their kayaks.
We all enjoyed kayaking and canoeing. Our swimmers loved it. When we were feeling extra energetic, we hit the professional-sized and gleaming gym for some Pickle-ball or basketball, and ended our day gathered around the fire pit and soaking in the jacuzzi.
The children watched movies in the big screen theatre. The speakers are amazing, and the sound is incredible.
It was so gorgeous and the amenities so wonderful, it was tough to leave the property for day hikes or fishing on the Bitterroot River. But we did--everything is close to the property, even though it's secluded and serene--and we were glad to have discovered and gotten to know Montana better.
We were at maximum capacity and the spaciousness of the lodge gave us plenty of room to explore and enjoy.
You honestly can't spend a bad minute here. The hosts have generous supplies on hand and a stocked pantry. The kitchen and dining areas are huge. If we needed anything, the response was immediate and complete.
Our best family vacation!
Not only was the house simply breathtaking both inside and out, the customer service from Steph and Ryan were top notch. Any question we asked was immediately answered with a detailed and informative response. For example, we asked about hiking trails and we quickly received a long and detailed message about our local options. We also left an item and the owner offered to mail it to us at no charge.
The full-sized gym was awesome. There are shoes provided for every possible size. You can play basketball, pickleball, badmitton and so much more. They even had snowshoes available for guest use.
The views from the porches and large pictures windows from both sides of the house and hot tub/firepit are absolutely incredible.
The theatre room had a huge screen and incredible sound and was the perfect place to watch the Super Bowl and a movie. Speakers were built in throughout the house and there were separate SONOS units for a quick listen as well.
The pool table and ping-pong topper as well as the Foosball table provided hours of entertainment.
The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked. We had serving platters for a charcutterie board, a griddle for pancakes and a nice stand mixer for making a cheesecake. There were two stoves, and one had a great warming setting which we used often.
I highly suggest renting this amazing home for any large family or group. It was a memorable experience and we hope to return again.
There were 10 of us ranging in age from 72 - 2.5 years old. Plenty of room and activities for all. The gym was a unique bonus. Water activities, hiking within a beautiful setting made for a perfect vacation. The hosts were extraordinarily responsive. Loved it.
Our stay at this incredible Montana home was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty, comfort, and fun this property offers. Tucked away in a peaceful setting with stunning views, the house had everything we needed — and more. The private pond was a serene spot for morning coffee and evening relaxation. The kids (and adults!) had a blast on the full basketball court and playing foosball and pool in the game area. The movie room and hot tub was great too! Evenings were spent making s'mores around the fire pit.Inside, the home is beautifully designed and spacious, with thoughtful touches throughout. The piano added a warm, elegant vibe and made it feel like a true home-away-from-home. Every room was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked — from the kitchen essentials to extra towels for the hot tub. This place is the perfect blend of luxury and Montana charm. Whether you're looking to relax, play, or explore, this home checks all the boxes. We highly, highly recommend!
What an exquisite rental! Beautiful facilities, stunning environment, and the best of hosts! Stephanie and Ryan were able to respond to our questions/requests immediately. The pristine private grounds surpassed our highest expectations. And the gym in the 'barn'! Our 14-year-old grandson looked around and said, "Yes! I want one of THESE for Christmas!" We'll be back, oh yes, we'll be back!
Pictures don’t capture the amazing beauty of this home and property. You have to visit to fully understand how special this home is. Stephanie and Ryan are so helpful and are very quick to respond to any question regarding restaurants, activities, house info, etc. The back patio is where you’ll want to spend all your time. Our group consisted of 10 people ages 17 months to 76 years and this home was perfect for all of us. From the perfectly stocked coffee bar, to the large kitchen, plenty of sitting areas, comfortable bedrooms, and super cool gym… we were more than happy to stay at the home most of our trip. Whatever your interests- outdoor activities, family bonding, indoor relaxing, outdoor exploration… this home has it all. We were all sad to leave and can’t wait to come back!
Beautiful property with plenty of amenities to entertain all ages! Our large group enjoyed relaxing on the patio (beautiful view), cooking our meals in the large kitchen, paddling kayaks on the pond, jumping off the dock, relaxing in the hot tub, playing beach volleyball, and more! We had a family pickle ball tournament in the gym, played lots of basketball, and even some dodgeball! We utilized the coffee bar daily and we also enjoyed the movie room for late night relaxing. Too many amenities to list! Great location as well- hiking, rafting, horseback riding are all accessible. Stephanie and Ryan were very attentive- they even facetimed us when we needed help working the property wide music system. Would recommend to any large group.. I’m sad I had to leave!
So many positive aspects to this property. Stephanie was very responsive and delivered the couple items needed for our stay. I really loved having household supplies ready for use. We utilized most of the activities and had plenty to do while getting dinner and such.
I would like to mention that it can be awkward for mixed families or friends to share the one bathroom downstairs where most bedrooms are located. It isn't quite clear where the bedrooms and baths are located on each floor. I would highly recommend making the "office" another bedroom since it had a full bath.
We enjoyed the grilling and cooking with a very equipped kitchen! Check-in and out was easy too! Thanks for the hospitality.
Our family loves to travel & gather together at the same location at least 1 time a year. In 2025 we chose this estate & all 18 of us are ecstatic with this choice! The home & property are luxurious! You will be tucked into the Montana wilderness and at the same time be only minutes from all conveniences you may need in Hamilton. Our family is ages 2 - 63 & there was never enough time in a day to partake in all the offerings provided by the Hosts! All our correspondence with them was most excellent! You will be provided an extensive description of the home amenities along with a boundless list of activities offered in the Hamiliton area. As a grandfather my barometer for a successful vacation is when my children or grandchildren ask if & how soon we can come back! Without hesitation everyone of them ask if we can come back here next year! This has never happened before & all I can say is congratulations to the Hosts for assembling such a spectacular property & thank you for sharing it with our family! The grandkids stood in awe when we arrived & could not decide what activity to do 1st & ran from 1 thing to another until they could not move any longer! There is a magnificent gym on the property! We have a grandson that wears a size 18 shoe & the Hosts were so gracious they went out & bought special shoes for him to wear so he could enjoy the gym with the rest of us! Our family promises you will be overjoyed if you choose to stay here & we are anxiously waiting to return!
