We had a lovely stay! Cabin was very enjoyable and very clean and well maintained. The hot tub was a little dirty, but it was still nice having that option. We did expect a little more privacy, since it was on a private ranch, but there was a few people parking right in front of the cabin each day for hunting. Overall, it was a lovely time and we plan to stay here again.

Harlan Cabin is wonderful!

This was our 3rd time staying at Harlan Cabin. We love coming back each time for the solitude, great views, nearby hiking, dark skies, and the wildlife. Remote enough, yet close enough to go into town for supplies or dining out. The cabin is extremely comfortable and well-kept, with all the amenities for a perfect getaway!

The listing does not do this cabin and spot justice. The views are million dollar views in every direction. If you visit Darby/Hamilton MT area you have to stay here. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful home with stunning views!

My wife and I stayed here for half of our honeymoon, it is absolutely gorgeous and such an amazing place to stay! We will be coming back. There was whitetail deer in the yard every morning and the hot tub was such a fun vibe. I cannot get over the valley and the captivating mountains. Thank you for letting us enjoy God's wonderful creation!

This was our second trip to the Harlan Cabin since we loved the first stay so much. The cabin was just as lovely as we remembered. Everything was immaculate and the hosts (Johnny and Jani) were incredibly attentive when we had questions or needed things. Lastly, the view was unmatched, and it was great being able to hike right on the property. I would love to visit again!

Anniversary Trip 2024

This is our second anniversary trip in consecutive years at this beautiful and peaceful rental. The cabin is very clean, well-organized, has everything you'd need for cooking your own meals, a Weber BBQ, a jacuzzi tub, comfortable beds and pillows, and spectacular mountain and territorial views with plenty of visits from wildlife. Quiet, Peaceful, Scenic Cabin

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here (repeat customers says something). The cabin is clean, cozy, well stocked, situated perfectly for great views of the Bitterroot Mountains and Valley. Jani and John are excellent hosts, never out of touch and always thoughtful of our needs. Hamilton is 20min away for shopping and restaurants. This is certainly our favorite place to stay when visiting Montana.

The Harlan Cabin never disappoints

We had another amazing time at the Harlan cabin last month. The cabin, the views, the wildlife right outside the door, the wildlife down the road and the peacefulness we experienced is one that we haven’t found anywhere else. This property has the best views from all the listings we saw on VRBO. The property was quiet, clean and the hosts were amazing! We celebrated our engagement and unfortunately had to leave the property due to a bad windstorm that knocked the power out. The hosts were kind enough to make other arrangements for us and we couldn’t thank them enough. I can’t say it enough, but this property is amazing and the pictures don’t do it justice. We can’t wait to stay here again!

Bitterroot Perfection

After a whirlwind trip through the Bitterroot, we settled in to the Harlan Cabin to finish celebrating our 25th. This spot was perfect! Cozy, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The cabin was well stocked and the BBQ worked wonderfully. We ran into the hosts upon check in and they made us feel welcome. Then there’s the views. The pictures don’t do them justice. We can’t wait to make this a tradition.

What an amazing getaway!

My husband and I didn’t have time to go on a honeymoon after our wedding so decided to make the most of a first anniversary trip instead. We could not have found a better place to spend the week. A True Getaway

This was our second time staying at this beautiful cabin and we loved it even more! The location of this property is exactly what we wanted and the cabin itself is so beautifully appointed and of course exceptionally clean! We enjoyed the variety of abundant wildlife and the peace and quiet this place affords. We met the hosts John and Jani which just added to the wonderful experience here. Very friendly and accomodating. We were even treated to a horse drawn wagon ride which was so much fun! Before heading home we had already decided we are coming back next year and are very much looking forward to it!! This was truly a relaxing vacation and the perfect place to hit the reset button!! If I could rate this cabin 10 stars I most certainly would!!!
