"Period property with unusual layout. Excellent cooked breakfast plus dinner menu. Plenty of parking on site. Very helpful Landlady. Wifi didn't during our stay but apparently a network engineer is booked to redo the whole set up."

A charming ground-floor cottage with scenic valley views

"There’s not much to say that hasn’t been already said: I stayed in the cowshed aka Yr Hen Feudy. The top highlights for me were how really comfortable and very clean it was, the host Daniela as an informative and funny conversationalist, fresh eggs from their chickens and cookies upon arrival, the stunning vistas from my patio, the open area for my pets (we were given an inch and we took a foot some days, but the hosts were gentle about it) the adjoining private woodland with Rosie and Gerda the pigs, and the ambling 45 minute walk to town where on the way I saw an Emu, a donkey, baby goats and lamb. I love that the hedgerows along the roads include wild honeysuckle. Very green and quiet. Lovely spot. Easy check in and out. Lots of parking. Private. Beautiful."

"We really enjoyed our stay. Woodpecker Cottage was very cute and cosy. Hosts Zena & Leigh were very attentive and even provided some basic food items which included some non dairy items for me and fresh eggs from their hens. They were very helpful and gave us information on great hiking locations. They also provide lots of documentation at the cottage with suggestions of things to do and sites to visit. The area was very pastoral and provided easy access to many hiking spots (local and up to 1hr away). "
