it’s very noisy if your room is just beside highway. I requested to move after 2 nights. and for the new room I found there was no bath towels and no soap. I requested from reception but unfortunately nobody gave me. breakfast was fair but not deserved. laundry was not good as my clothes still wet after 100 minutes drying. would not recommend.

Amazing

I highly recommend this place. Amazing experience, got a free upgrade to the main hotel . The breakfast is affordable and a lot to choose from. Very friendly and helpful staff. I have no complains at all and I will gladly book them again.

Good value, paid $21 plus 0.76 cent at the spot. Warning must have a valid debit and credit card. For anyone seeking to run a proper hostel, check out this chain. They know what they are doing! I checked out late, no one gave me a hazzle. Will for sure stay again despite no queen bed or room service

In the toilet, there was lots of urin smell. There is no air conditioner, which means it is not good for the hot summer season. I had good experience at a&o hostel in other cities, such as Cologne and so on, but unfortunately in Hamburg I had the first bad experience.

Great for large groups sharing at a low price.

Me and a group of friends shared a 6 bed dorm for 3 nights. The room was not very big but it had everything that we needed. The beds were comfortable. The USB ports on the beds didn’t seem to work but we just used the power outlets instead so that wasn’t a huge issue. There were lockers in the room which can be used if you bring your own padlock. The bathroom was clean. We did have an issue with a broken toilet seat but we told the front desk and they fixed it immediately without issue. The location is great and it’s easy enough to navigate the city from this location. Overall I think it was great for the price we paid.

A bit too expensive in regard to what you get

Our stay was okay. The bed was a little too hard, and no air conditioning. It is a budget hotel and I would expect it to be a bit cheaper.

At check in I had to pay extra cost int the name of "Local taxes" however it was already added to my final payment. The room faced to the main road so it was noisy, however it was cosy. Breakfast was good.

Overall, my stay was good. My room and the common areas were rather chilly, probably owing to the loss of natural gas from Russia, but the situation did not cause any concern for me. My room and the common areas were clean, but the elevators could use some cleaning. The breakfast buffet provides a good selection. The property is within walking distance of the Hamburg Hbf and a U-Bahn station, making driving unnecessary.

The receptionist charged me a wrong booking, and while they said they’d fix it, they still charged me, and I have not been able to get in touch with anyone helpful despite calling several a&o numbers and emailing several emails the past 3 days. The current situation is the hostel scammed me 300 euro..

My rating for this property is 1 out of 5. 1. Hotel management charged higher than the price shown in Expedia. 2. The bathroom is not at all in good condition. very small. 3. A car parking facility is not available. Hotel management said parking slots are full and they said to park the vehicle 1-2Km away from the hotel. 4. This hotel is not a good choice for family people especially while traveling with Kids.

Es war Günstig, war unser leitspruch im Zimmer. Leider ging die lüftungsanlage in den Bedezimmer sehr lautstark und zu willkürlichen zeiten (auch mitten in der Nacht) an. Die Fenster waren nicht kippbar sonder nur 1 Fester war entweder zu oder komplett auf nutzbar. Es waren kaum Steckdosen vorhenden (2Stück für 6 Personen) dafür aber pro bett 2 USB, die leider nicht alle gut funktionierten. Ansonsten war es eine gute und Solide Unterkunft

Wir hatten einen katastrophalen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft. Der Check In dauerte allein eine Stunde, das Zimmer war schmutzig (Bettlaken und Kissen voller Flecken, im Badezimmer an den Fliesen waren schwarze Haare etc). Wir haben dieses bei der Rezeption gemeldet, sowie nach einem zweiten Kopfkissen gefragt, leider war niemand mehr vom Hotelservice Personal mehr vor Ort, sodass man uns nicht helfen konnte. Die Lage war sehr nah am Bahnhof, sowie an der Innenstadt, was sehr von Vorteil war, die Nähere Umgebung war nicht sehr einladend. Sehr anonym.
