A great disappointment this time!

Waiting to be picked up from the parking site (there is no other way) took at one time 10 minutes, another time it took 30 minutes. The room was supposed to have a working jacuzzi with hot a water. The hot water didn't work. Management didn't know what to do about it, told us it was out of their control and did not give us any sort of discount or voucher for a future visit. This was not our first visit to Hamat Gadar so we had expectation. We were very disappointed.

Room not cleaned after a guest who was there before Rusty shower head, poor maintenance Disparaging attitude, and unwillingness to address problems No kitchen equipment at all, no way to make coffee, or eat in the room. This is not a VIP room

אני ובת הזוג שלי סגרנו חופשה למלון עם סוג חדר יחסית פשוט.. אחרי בדיקה באתרים הבנו שעדיף לשדרג את החדר בשביל לא להתאכזב. יצרנו קשר עם המלון ושדרגנו בתוספת תשלום כמובן. בנוסף סגרנו טיפולי ספא. קיבלה אותנו אחת המנהלות של המקום, היתה מקסימה. העיסוי של בת הזוג שלי היה גרוע, בקשה חזק יותר והמטפלת כלל לא הגיבה! לא התענינה בשלומה עד העשר הדקות האחרונות שכבר נגמר העיסוי, אכזבה גדולה! הג׳אקוזי בחדר- בשביל מים חמים צריך למלא בו מי גופרית שזה ממש ממש ריח לא נעים לכן נאלצנו למלא רק מים קרים. אותה מנהלת המלון פגשה אותנו בארוחת בוקר ושאלה בשלומנו, ספרנו לה על החוויה של בת זוגתי מהעיסוי ואמרה שתבדוק ובכל אופן תאפשר לנו עזיבה מאוחרת, כמה זמן לאחר מכן הקבלה לא אשרו את העזיבה המאוחרת והמנהלת כמובן לא חזרה אלינו לגבי העיסוי. ארוחת בוקר בינונית מינוס (ברמת העוגת שמרים לא מספיק אפוייה) הפלוס היחיד, המלון שקט כי הוא קטן ולגיל 18+. עדיין, לא מתכוונים לסגור שום חופשה נוספת.

The shape of some of the facilities was not so good. the water in the pool were not clean and the sauna's roof was damaged. The room toilet floor was dirty as well. Service was good and the breckfast was good concidering it was outsourced and served in boxes in the room.

Get into a somwhat deteriorated paradise

Very good concept and layout, lot of privacy in suites, large room and enclosed veranda, very nice mineral pool (just for hotel guests). Need some renovation in suites (shower did not drain fast), windows in veranda hard to slide open. Nice breakfast served to room (Covid19)

Room service- they place a card for it in the room, but it literally DOES NOT EXIST. We tried to order from it, they didn’t have anything that was written in it. Next time we stay there we’ll bring food from home. Staff’s clothing isn’t unified and kinda feels like a half ass job. The only difference between a regular suite to the deluxe is the hot tub- which is wonderful btw, but there is no river and no view. Decore is distasteful, the restaurant where hotel guests eat was really uncomfortable to sit at (food was okay and diverse)). I had fun because I was in good company, staff members were kind and sweet, and the hot water were so calming. They should renovate the place, and it will be fantastic. On a personal note, we were kind of disappointed for not getting anything when entering the room since it was for a birthday, and we ordered a deluxe+ half board.

גשם גשם מטפטף..הסופש שלנו התברך ב3 ימי גשם בלי הפסקה. המלון מתאים לשהייה בגשם. הבריכות חמות - אולם כל מה שמסביב אינו ערוך לגשם.לא היה אפילו מקום להניח מגבת יבשה. השירות במסעדת המלון, שנראית צנועה מאוד , השירות מעולה, אנשי הצוות חייכנים קשובים ונדיבים. בהחלט נחזור לחופשה נוספת..לאו דווקא בגשם שוטף

Overall six stars!

After reading quite negative reviews my husband and I hesitated to stay in this hotel and we are very happy that finally we decided to get it a trial for one night. It exceeded all our expectations. Villas: two-room, spacious and clean. Perhaps, furniture has been upgraded recently because both, the bed and the sofa bed were new and comfi. Sulfur water Jacuzzi in our villa was wonderful. Some people posted photos showing “dirty” tubs, but this is very unfair: the only water that you can pour in this Jacuzzi is sulfur water, so, by no means you can make tub shiny because of the mineral sediments!!! But mineral water is what you are coming for, right? Staff: deserves recognition. Unfortunately, we didn’t ask the name of a person who checked us in (tall young Russian-speaking individual), - he was very professional and attentive to details, really exceptional attitude. Somebody in Tripadviser complained that bathrobes have to be picked up from the reception (rather than to be provided in villas) but this is done for a purpose: you can exchange your wet bathrobes at the reception as frequently as this is needed! In addition, if you want extra towels or a fresh bathrobe in your room, they deliver in minutes. Breakfast: excellent, large variety, especially for cheese: a dozen of different soft cheeses, from home-made to French-style. And even honey from honeycomb.

Relaxing Time

Lovely location and the pools were wonderful. However, the spa village and the suites are very very tired and dated. The suites were comfortable and clean but needed updating. The breakfast was nothing special. Not a continental breakfast as the Europeans know, but more of an Israeli breakfast with lots of cheese and dairy products. No choice for meat eaters apart from eggs and some type of fish. Overall, we enjoyed the thermal pools and the whole environment was very relaxing. So relaxing that we extended our stay for another night. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful - essential as I do not speak Hebrew.

כדאי בהחלט, ארצה לבלות שוב

בילינו את החג כל המשפחה (5 בקתות) בספא וילג' חמת-גדר, לא ידענו כלל על המלון והמקום. והייתה לנו הפתעה נהדרת: הבקתות מפנקות, המיטות נהדרות, ג'קוזי מרווח ונוח לכל בקתה, האתר מלא בפעילויות מגוונות כך שכל אחד יכול לעשות מה שמתחשק לו, השרות אדיב ונעים, האוכל היה בסדר גמור כל זהנותן תנאים מצוינים להנאה מהשהות.
