This is a 4 star hotel but the standard twin room was tiny even for usual Japan standard. To make the experience even worse, on Wednesday I asked the concierge for assistance to book a taxi to head to Chiba and my 2 questions were 1) how long will the journey take 2) how much will it cost for advance booking of taxi. A non-Japanese (Indian looking female) attended to me and she asked me to check my phone with google map for the transport time and I had to show her my handphone subsequently which stated 52 mins travelling time by car. Even though I was offended with her kind of assistance rendered (ie telling me to key into my phone to show her), I proceeded to engage her for my second question on the cost. To which she replied JPY8,000 for one way. Now this was when I started doubting her service delivery as I told her that I had checked with the Uber which showed me costs of JPY25,000 to JPY40,000. I asked her to reconfirm if her information to me is accurate (or not) as I am a tourist and I rely on the front desk for assistance. This was when another front desk male staff came over to clarify : 1) the commuting time will be 72 mins 2) the cost is estimated to be JPY25,000 min. Seriously, how wrong can the female staff get??!! Even after realising that she had given me all the wrong information and caused inconvenience and distress to me, she did not display any sign of remorse for her mistake and her body language was definitely not apologetic!!!!! What service is this!!

Great sized room for a family with everything you need including washer/dryer, microwave, kettle etc. Great location - minutes from Akihabara and Ueno and Okachimachi station. Very close to a Lawson for supplies and Yamoto Transport for bag forwarding to your next hotel. Staff were excellent and very friendly. My only improvement would be better pillows/pillow options in the room!
