"The Drovers Rest is a spacious first floor flat in an old building overlooking the main street in Haltwhistle. It is comfortably furnished and well equipped with an open plan kitchen/dining/living space and a separate bedroom and bathroom. There are pubs and restaurants in the town and car parking is available nearby at Sainsbury's. Stella replied quickly to my comments and had kindly left me some nice biscuits!Haltwhistle is 2 miles from Hadrian's Wall with its excellent walking possibilities...

"A nice stay close to all of Hadrians walls main attractions and lots of walks. Property was clean and tidy with everything we needed. Parking nearby or on street after 6pm. Overall a well located and comfortable place to stay. "

"This is a beautifully appointed shepherd's hut on the edge of a pretty and quiet village in the North Pennines. Lots of walking routes nearby and just a few miles from Appleby-in-Westmoreland. We enjoyed our stay very much though were disappointed that the internet signal was so poor. The TV would not stream smoothly so not worth having it there at the moment. Still, this was a small sacrifice for the pleasure of experiencing tiny living life for a few days. Everything else worked really...
