She really went out of her way to help us get things we needed, even going so far as to phone and organize a cab and bike shop for us because our french wasn’t very good. She also provided a wonderful breakfast. The place itself is a cute and artsy suite right on the ocean overlooking a sleepy fishing village on “cat island”, which I think is some sort of refuge for cats. "Room was alright, but got eaten alive by mosquitos overnight which wasn’t great, and when I walked over for dinner and a drink the bar / restaurant was all shut up. It wasn’t late. Place is just on the highway so unless you fancy a walk to the neighbouring hotel (15mins) or another drive you wont find any alternatives for food / drink. "
