"Perfect get away to find peace and recharge. Spent four nights at Lakota to escape the DC hustle and left refreshed. Bed was very comfortable as was the couch and outside furniture. Kitchen is well equipped. The cabin sits back from the main road and is obscured by trees from the road behind so plenty of privacy and quiet. The recently graded and smoothed access road is gravel which wasn't an issue with our SUV and we saw plenty of non-SUV vehicles going up and down (early September). Communication with the hosts was excellent.The town of New Market is about ten minutes to the west and offers a few things to do, a small general store, and several places to eath. Luray is 20 minutes to the east and has much more. Harrisonburg is 30 minutes south and has (almost) everything. "
