"There is a cockroach problem. The fan in the lounge room is over the skylight so is horrible and you can't use it without risking an epileptic fit. No air con and everything in the home was damp after the rain, even our beds. It smells like a nursing home/ old stuffy cupboard and The key jams badly so it takes 10 minutes to get in and little things like the vanity being sticky taped together let the place down. On a good note... Location was fabulous and the camp bunk beds in the main bedroom...

10/10 Excellent

"Good to be able to stay in Gosford on a reduced nightly tariff from the motels. Shared bathrooms are all well appointed, recently renovated. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Good food in the hotel. Amazing old elevator. Very easy place to stay. All very good, except for phone contact numbers - mobile provides no contact with advice to ring 000 if have an emergency then shuts off, landline goes to AI assistant which says will pass issue onto a staff member for them to contact you but it never happpened."

"I’ve had two stays here over the last two weeks. On both occasions, for the most part everything was great. My only disappointment, was has greasy/slippery the bathroom floor was in room 5, and the amount of dirt at the bottom of the shower floor in room 6. The toilet also need a good clean. That aside, I was very happy with my stay. Good parking, lovely room, coffee van right outside, great location, friendly staff."

"The negative - had to fiddle with the float in the toilet cistern to get it working! Positives - friendly staff/towels changed daily/great location for what we required. This was our second visit (both times to attend a funeral). Would definitely return - but hope it is not in the short term (ie another funeral!)"
