A quiet serene location yet not too far from the busy Mall Road - the center of town. The reception can also organize a taxi or car rental service for you. Good food dining options too if you want to eat in their small cozy dining room. Rahul Pandey at reception was very hospitable and helpful. I look forward to visiting and staying here again.

Room rent is exorbitant

My staying was comfortable. Room rent is found exorbitant compared to the facilities offered by the Estate. The lodge is located other bank of Nainital lake (i.e. opposite to Mall Road). This bank is actually hill side. Lodge is therefore located at hill top. So this imposes hindrance to the travellers for frequent travel between market area and the lodge.

We booked the best available room in the lodge- Presidential Suite but it fell short of expectations. What was good: - Location - Staff was friendly - Good What was short of expectations: - Aging property and furniture. Bed played a creeking music .. definitely not fit for a honeymoon couple;) - Linen, not so clean...with lot's of dirt marks ( You don't expect it in even a normal room...while we paid for a presidential suite) - The purpose of a Suite with 2 rooms is lost when only 1 room has a toilet and people from other room have to cross the other room to use the toilet. - Cable TV: With limited channels to watch while others are blocked - Intercom not working: Were told that a Monkey snapped the wire:)... so had to call the recep

This property is a hidden gem. Rooms are very clean. Although you might not have a great view from them, the property itself is so serene and quiet that you will not miss it. Staff is very polite and very professional. Excellent room service. Food is amazing. Also, my room was upgraded to a Superior room which definately helped since I was traveling with a toddler. Big thanks to Rahul and his team. It's a little steep to walk from the main road but taxis are readily available.

this is a nice property, located almost 1.2 kms from the main area & so u need to have transport to get there.Rooms are spacious & clean however the housekeeping was disappointing as things were not provided.Room booked for 4 pax but bathrooms were not sufficiently stocked with towels/Napkins/Toilet paper.Had to request many times to get these.Ganesh the caretaker was helpful & ensured proper service.All in all for the price charged the property needs to buckle up its service standards.
