Bad experience!
Our stay was terrible! Did not realize that Wyndem sold property just before our arrival. No soap...toilet tissue..coffee..in room. Couldn't take a shower or go to the bathroom. Worst hotel we have ever been to. Wish we would have been made aware that it was sold...would have re booked somewhere else. Don't go there !

This property has changed hands and is no longer a Wyndham hotel. Not only did they not have our reservation, but there was no tv working in the entire hotel, no telephone, broken shower head, and no breakfast as advertised when booking. Orbitz would not refund us, only gave us a 25.00 credit. I will not be booking hotels through Orbitz again.

This hotel has been recently sold. The old owner did not take down the website or expedia account and accepted reservations for after the sale date. We arrived to an overbooked hotel due to bookings from 2 different owners and renovations. The staff scrambled to accommodate us, but many people needed to be turned away. The staff did great for the mess they inherited. I would call or look up APM Inns and Suites, if you would like to stay here. The room was nice and clean. Got to meet the Hagerstown FD when the alarms went off at 5 am. The pool is closed and the free breakfast was not available due to the renovations. I would try them again on my next visit to the area.

Disgusting and unsafe.
My wife and I never even checked in. When we arrived, we noticed that the area was very unsafe looking with lots of drug addicts walking around outside, and when I walked into the front lobby, it wreaked of cigarette odor, didn’t appear to be clean. I immediately turned around and left the building. My wife and I returned to Hotels.com and booked another room at another hotel.

Property was sold 2 days prior to our stay with no warning given to us. Bookings from Baymont do not transfer over to the new hotel so I’m out over $80. Had to sleep in my car at 22 weeks pregnant with my 3 year old, new desk attendant was extremely rude, and condescending. Definitely will not be attempting to stay at this location again.

Hotel is dirty and reeks of smoke. Drinking and drug use was prevelent right outside the hotel entrance. We left after 20 minutes due to members of our group having smoke allergies and feeling unsafe. Multiple people with visable track marks were in the lobby and elevator.

This Hotel smells of extreme cigarette smoke. I had no cold water the door security lock was loose one screw was missing. The toilet clogged. They said i could not get my money back because it was booked through Expedia. So we had to stay. we were there six hours just to get rest on our road trip by the time we left our clothes and hair reaked of cigarettes.The shower curtain and walls were stained yellow from cigarette smoke. I wiped the wall and discovered white under the yellowed walls.I would advise that this hotel just be demolished and rebuilt. It also has not been remodeled since probably 1980.

While we were so happy to have you and your family as our guests recently, we are saddened by your negative review. Please accept our sincere apology for the slight smell of smoke that you encountered as that is something we do not want to have here at the hotel. Although we are a non-smoking property, we occasionally have a guest who does not comply nor care about the lingering odor this infraction creates for others. We will investigate and take corrective measures to remove any residual traces of smoke in guest rooms and will increase monitoring to catch offenders who choose to ignore the non-smoking policy. Our pest control contractor will be contacted regarding your claim of seeing insects at our property. Unfortunately, despite our regular and scheduled pest control measures we do occasionally have a report of an insect in a guestroom or in a public space. We will certainly discuss your comments with our contractor and follow their guidance regarding any change or increase to our usual pest control measures. We will also speak with our housekeeping staff regarding your feedback and relay the need to pay closer attention to in-room and property-wide cleaning efforts. We hope that you otherwise enjoyed your time in the Hagerstown area.

Hotel looks fancy from outside but that changes as soon as you walk in. It stank of cigarettein the lobby and elevator. The reception guy was a bit rude. Only one elevator was working and you could not use the stairs because the doors were locked. You could go into the stairs but not come out. Bath/shower seemed clogged and so did the toilet. the restroom door did not lock either due to lack of mechanism.

We were horrified when arriving to the hotel.The pictures they post of their rooms are nothing like what you actually get. The bathroom was not even cleaned, hair was every where. The room itself was dirty and discussing. The carpet in the hall and lobby was caked in filth, absolutely disgusting . I would prob go as far as to say this is where the junkies hang out. Will absolutely never stay here again .and we have stayed in some dumps..

You get what you pay for
When we entered the hotel the cigarette smoke was overwhelming. We waited in the lobby for our room. Went up to our room, opened the door and surprise a man was in the room! Went back down, women behind the desk and manager confused. We got a new room that was ok. The room was big and spacious. The beds were like sleeping on a board. The women behind the desk were friendly and clearly embarrassed over the confusion. I wouldn’t stay here again especially with children, but it has great potential if it gets cleaned up.

Liked the restaurant that was on the property. Did not like that the rooms were in such disrepair and when they would finally come to fix the issue, it was not fixed. Rooms were filthy,microwave did not work, toilet saet about to fall off, sink flow really slow. Fights in the hallway.

Many other insects resemble bedbugs, and this may simply be a case of misidentification. Whatever the case, we will find the underlying cause. The smell of smoke and mold was overwhelming. Not a safe area to be in with the family and kids. Run down facilities and not clean. Our socks were so dirty after walking around that we threw them straight out. Our towels had a weird smell to them and there was hair in the shower and black slime around the rim of the toilet. It appears that homeless people may be housed in this facility.

This hotel is not family oriented I felt unsafe with my family woke up a couple times in the middle of the night and people were fighting running through the hallways it was not a very good night.

The room itself was pretty good. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. However, the rest of the hotel was mostly a disaster! I found needles and drug paraphernalia in the stair well. There was also a pile of human feces in the corner of the stair well on one of the floors. I found the doors to the stair well propped open so others can get access to the stair wells. There is a sign in the lobby stating that everyone must present their room key to access the building, but no one is even checking. Many people in the parking lot were under the influence of something, playing loud music and being unruly. The carpet in the lobby was very old and dirty. If you have children, by no means should you take them to this hotel. If you do, don't let them out of you site.

Stay away! The hotel is disgusting. Smoke permeates all public areas and rooms. Obvious drug use and marijuana on floors in public areas. We felt very unsafe. Due to health conditions we ended up leaving because there was cigarette smoke coming through the vents making it Impossible for gas with asthma to stay. Cigarette holes in bedding of non-smoking rooms, cockroaches, and mold in the showers. Again stay away

This was the worst hotel I have ever been too. We checked in and had our doubts right away...was hot, smelled and looked very run down. The area around the hotel and even the lobby felt unsafe and made us uncomfortable. We decided to go up to the room to check it out without bringing any of our belongings... It was extremely hot, dirty and smelly.... The sink was literally almost off the wall in the bathroom and everything looked very old and run down. The smell turned my stomach and we decided to leave. Neither of us would have felt comfortable or safe sleeping in those beds and remaining in that environment.We called the front desk and told them we would not be returning or using the room and the girl said that she would make sure to note that we checked out and did not stay. The girl at the front desk was very nice and we know that this had nothing to do with her.

A dissapointing stay!
Strong Cigarette smell both in the lobby and in my "non smoking" room. My pajamas reaked of the smoke smell once I was at home unpacking. The room was relatively clean, but multiple evidence of disrepair. The carpet on the floor is not well maintained. Above the shower, painting repair was done but not finished. Window curtains could not fully close and could not be darkened. No chairs for the dinning table, we requested them and plastic folding chairs were brought in. The office chair was dirty with some glitters on it. Poor TV service. Let's just say there is no customer service. No warmth, no conversation, no information about services available. Just cold staff. We survived just for the one night because we had to. Unfortunately, this was my worst hotel stay ever. Motel 6 would probably have been a better stay than this.
