Best VRBO rental to date
Wonderful property. I want to keep it all to myself versus give a review, so I can easily book in the future but that would be unfair! Super clean, great location, host checked in after arrival to make sure all was well. Really can't say enough about this place and 10/10 will stay there again.

Great Cottage on Beautiful Lake
Wonderful new cottage right on Ten Mile Lake. We used it as a central location for the several perfect rides on the paved 120 mile Paul Bunyon bike trail that goes through Hakensack. Heard owls at night and saw eagles during the day at the property. Saw loons, swans and beaver lodges nearby. The cottage was very clean and well furnished with a great fire pit, and two other fireplaces that kept us cozy. Hopefully, we will be back.

Beth was a great host and prompt with communications! We even had the opportunity to check-in early which was much appreciated! The house was very clean and supplied well with kitchen items, linens, and games! Everyone had a wonderful time at the cottage and I would recommend staying here!

Fabulous getaway location
This Lakehouse is fresh, and thoughtfully designed to capture the best of the north woods. The setting is so secluded, but has great nearby access to the Paul Bunyan bike trail and Hwy 371 to Hackensack and Walker. Ten Mile Lake is clean and beautiful, with options for any activity. Beth is super helpful with suggestions and answers to questions. This property had everything we were looking for in a getaway after this year where nothing was normal. It took us back to camping and living experiences up north, and made for a terrific vacation. We were very grateful to find it!

Fall Spectacular on Ten Mile Lake!
My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary week at this gorgeous property. Newly built and beautifully appointed, this cabin strikes the perfect balance of modern rustic. All the charm and coziness of a cabin, but with the clean feel and conveniences of a new build.
The all season porch was a highlight and the perfect spot for reading, relaxing or just reflecting under the tall pines and birch trees surrounding the property.
The location was perfect for short day trips of biking excursions, or fishing the nearby lakes. Ten Mile Lake itself is stunning with sandy shorelines and crystal clear water.
Beth and Dan were excellent hosts - quick to respond with helpful information to whatever questions we had. And so kind to help manage our booking dates to fit our anniversary plans. If we could give this property 6 stars we would! Hope to be back again!
