Hostess very cordial at checkin but staff should pay more attention. staff should offer to take stored luggage and place in the proper place rather than telling guests at such a hotel to simply put their stored luggage in a closet themselves. And the young man who showed me to my room didn't explain anything other than this is your room when in fact the light switch operation was far from obvious. I'm being picky but it is a high end hotel. staff could use an upgrade in training. Otherwise, fantastic location. Great kitchen. Great food. I would return."

"Excellent 5-star hotel with a sleek, modern design and peaceful yet central location by Diocletian’s Palace (a step away, without being in the middle of the chaos). Rooms are spacious (huge for European and even American standards), nicely appointed, and well-stocked (Nespresso, local wine with compliments, bath & shower, double sinks), and every toiletry you might need. The rooftop offers incredible views, a lounge pool, loungers, and excellent food and wine. The breakfast buffet is the best I’ve had anywhere—delicious and extensive. Spa and gym are impressive—especially the massage from Maja, truly world-class. Service was outstanding, with special thanks to Sara and Barbara. Extra perks made the stay feel luxurious: reserved spa/gym after hours, beach tote with towels, daily wellness specials, even complimentary morning massage (check specials and availability). The crowd is upscale and relaxed. Only downside: room service is extremely overpriced with a €15 delivery fee. Otherwise, exceptional in every way. If you’re staying anywhere but here in the town of Split, you’re in the wrong place. "

"The room we stayed in was newly renovated and very nice - especially the bathroom. Had amazing AC which is not always common and was a lifesaver during the heatwave. Opted into the hotel transfer which was great and the staff was extremely helpful in getting that organized. Location was perfect you’re 2 minutes from the boardwalk and close to a popular cab/uber pickup & dropoff site. Great food options immediately when exiting the annex building we were in which was also convenient. "

The bedrooms were a real highlight: modern, beautifully refreshed, and thoughtfully appointed with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. From the plush bedding to the sleek bathroom fittings, everything felt clean, fresh, and well-maintained. The pool area, while lovely, was a little on the compact side. On a couple of occasions, we did need to wait for sun loungers to become available, but once settled, it was a relaxing spot to soak up the sun or enjoy a dip. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Their attentiveness and friendly approach made a real difference and contributed to the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Overall, this hotel delivers on location, comfort, and service. A great choice for couples or small groups looking for a stylish and convenient place to stay. We had a lovely time and would absolutely return. "
