"A nice, small family-owned hotel, with very service-minded and considerate staff and with some added perks such as dinner during weekdays.The hotel and the rooms are personally styled and cozy.The doubleroom we had was rather small, and during our stay the outdoor temperature made it quite hot indoors as well (the electric fan helped, though). Excellent breakfast. Overall very nice, reasonably priced and with a very peaceful atmosphere. "

"Sockerslottet is such a gem! Found this a bit by accident when I needed a place to stay during a work trip. I'm so happy that I did! I had a very nice welcoming, the room was both spacious, well-decorated and perfectly clean. I especially loved the "little extra", freshly baked cookies and coffee machine in the lobby. I will definitely be staying here again soon. Thank you!"

"Great hotel to visit Mariestad for vacation. A little noisy as the rooms are right next to a road with some early traffic. "

"-I didn’t get e post from hostel for the code and how to get into the building. Until got help from a man who is a carpenter working behind I parking place. Couldn’t imagine if I would check in late who is gonna help me.😆 -Calling telephone no function until 11.03 for customer service. -no English I formation -but the room and area is clean "
