I made arrangements to stay here on my way to “the Soo” and I’m happy to have found this little place on hotels.com. It’s a down home little motel with a good little restaurant next door with basic offerings for travelers through the southern UP.

Enjoyed the property, just wish the standard room had had a fridge, ice, there's room for all of that! Staff was excellent in the mornings, needed towels...they were there! No one at front desk but just a phone call or text away! It was a great out of the place though!

Was good stay beds comfortable and clean room had a funky smell but wasn’t terrible. I booked on line was little weird with no office to check in you get a text with room number and door code. Overall great stay for the price! And restaurant next door was great!

Door codes were texted to us just before 3:00, along with the WiFi password. A bit on the cabin-shabby side. The storm door screen was ripped, the main door’s wood veneer was cracked. The inside was clean, the bed was comfortable. It suited our short overnight needs.
