This was pur 2nd stay and the lagoon run 308. Great location and access to the beach. Very clean and spacious. Lots of things to do including the pool, Nice dock and swings in the lagoon area in the back area. Very friendly and helpful office staff at check in. Thanks for helping make ot a great vacation!
When we vacation at the beach, we're all about proximity to the shore. This condo was a very short walk to the sand...I had worried about crossing the street to get there but there was very little traffic. The beach in this area was not crowded and we just loved it. We could also see the Gulf and hear the waves from the porch which was lovely. We also enjoyed the pool that was close by and the dock over the lagoon. The layout worked out well for us: couples in the downstairs bedrooms and kids up in the loft. This west beach area was the perfect location for us and we hope to stay at Lagoon Run again!
Future renters: Because this is owned by a company and not individual owners, there is not the usual closet full of beach supplies, umbrellas/canopy, etc. We were glad we asked and also took note of the suggestion to bring our own beach towels, paper supplies, etc. Our friends brought a large pot to make our annual spaghetti and meatballs meal, but otherwise, the kitchen was well-equipped. We wish we would have brought baggies and aluminum foil. Some of the furnishings were well worn and the carpeting on the stairs and in the loft showed this place has been the home for many happy vacationing families, but it was clean. There was construction going on during our stay, but the workers were friendly, and when they noticed us having morning coffee on the porch and found out the kids were asleep upstairs, moved to work near another unit.
The condo was very nice great views from front (beach) and back (lagoon) the pier is very nice! It was great to have elevator! The pool was never too busy and the beach is right across from the condo!
We were here for our childs Softball tournament and had a great time with family and friends. Lots of room in the condo. Thank god there was an elevator for the 3rd floor. The cleanliness definitely needs to be better, but the property owner was very helpful in taking care of any issues there were.
Overall we had a great time on our trip! The location is just outside of the heavy traffic which provided a perfect non-crowded beach area! This was the first time we didn’t stay in the heavy traffic and loved it, will do it again for our next trip.
Only negatives I have is the cleanliness. They could do a better job at dusting ledges and cleaning under furniture. Heads up: washer and dryer are tiny but was still better than nothing.
it was very nice. location was away from all the shops/resturants which i thought was perfect. property was close enough to the beach to hear the waves at night. it rained one night and it was so peaceful. the sky was so dark which to us was creepy but cool. ive never seen it that dark.

Great view of the beach, excellent beach access, very comfortable beds, great sleeping loft for teens and children, nice living room, nice dishes and glassware, serious shortage of spoons (not even enough for all 8 of us to have a spoon to eat cereal for breakfast!), there was a hole in the wall, and it was not very clean.
The good things: location, safety, easy to social distance during covid at the beach because we weren’t on the high rise end, and all the staff at the rental agency (especially maintenance) was nice!! The bad things: stained carpet, stains on couch, threadbare chair in den, outdated in general and porch swing on floor outside. Our family enjoys the beach regardless but this particular unit was not up to my standards.

Been coming to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach area for the past 4 years during Dec, Jan and Feb. Never had dirty bedding before (mattress cover, dust ruffle, pillows, kitchen linens, rugs, and spreads and shams.. First 5 days elevator did not work. Property management did ok a new electric range, toaster, new mattress cover and pillows.

Poole and Associates
A few days before our arrival we were notified that there was construction at our booked condo and it was no longer available.
Poole and Associates offer another location in Orange Beach and due to short timing, we took the offer. While we were told the property was an upgrade but we couldhave for the same prive, there were some adjustments we had to make to our plans. It was in organge beach vs Gulf Shores. One of the highlights noted in the phone call, the lazy river, was closed due to construction. Upon departure I noted this to Poole and Associates and they were not aware that the lazy river and one pool were not accessible. Overall, we were pleased with our visit and thankful that due to our first choice being cancelled, they were able to make another offer to us. For that, we were grateful. Poole and Associates were also very flexible in making some changes to our check in dates.

Lagoon Run 308
We found bed bugs in the master bedroom our first night. After calling management, pest control was sent out and bed bugs were found in all the beds. The management company was very quick and responsive and found us another place to stay with no additional cost. However, we lost a day of our vacation performing bed bug protocol which included packing all of our clothing, pillows, and the kids' stuffed animals in black garbage bags and allowing them to sit in direct sunlight for a couple of hours, and washing everything we could on hot water. In addition, construction was being done on the complex and windows were being replaced in our unit, so workers were coming in and out of the unit as well as there being constant construction noise beginning at 7am. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Lagoon Run 308.

Excellent Location
This location was the best! If that’s all you care about is being close to the beach, this is just across a street with private access, you will absolutely love this place. If you care more about space and gross carpet, the kitchen is super tiny. Two people can’t cook at once or even open the frigid while in there cooking. The biggest problem I had was my comforters had stains and so diid some of the white towels. Those should not be put into use. There was a shower hook missing in the master bathroom which made water go all over the floor if it was sitting just right in the tub. That should be an easy fix by the cleaning crew to add a shower hook to prevent this.My biggest complaint was the loft. The carpet was dirty and disgusting. They need to invest in adding tile up there. Also, it got very hot up there so the AC had to be in 60 downstairs for the kids to have any relief. While we froze to death downstairs. I would not choose this place again. I’d prefer to spend a few hundred more for a bigger kitchen and to have zero carpet anywhere.
Cute place across the street from the beach. Not 5 stars but definitely 4 stars just because it needs a little updating and blinds in the living room. Would definitely stay again though.
Would rent again for the location! Easy access to beach. Far enough for all the high rise condos and public beach access points. Really great location. Only cons - it is dirty. Could really use a good cleaning!!! Bathrooms especially and outdated. Things should have been fixed prior to our arrriving - instead they were fixed after we told property management. No other issues
