The Resort at Gulf Shores Plantation

Our whole unit has been redone with new cabinets & appliances and some new flooring.

Views, views, views! This unit has beautiful views in every direction. The sugar white beach with natural sand dunes and sea oats, the sound of the calling sea gulls, all contribute to the appeal of this gulf front unit. No streets to cross-located right on the beach. Our condo is bright and airy with side windows that allow for great vistas. Drink your coffee on the balcony and enjoy the sparkling gulf waters.

We have a gated community with 24 hour on-site security. Free parking for two vehicles per condo. Our first floor, one bedroom, one bath unit is cute, clean, and comfortable. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom with a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. There is a single bed large enough for a child in the hallway. There are two flat screen TVs with cable. Linens are provided with the unit but bring your own beach towels. Towels are provided once. They are not changed out daily. There are washers and dryers steps away in the hall. Outdoor barbecue grills are available throughout the complex.

WIFI is available in the condo. There are six pools with one heated outdoor pool (early spring and fall) and an indoor pool and hot tub that makes swimming available year-round. Our unit has a view of the one beachside pool. Indoor and outdoor spas, lighted tennis courts, a Pickleball Court, putting green, exercise room, horseshoe pits, a basketball court, and shuffleboard round out a list of activities available at our condo.

For those who like their food really fresh, fishing off the beach or in Mobile Bay located across from the Resort’s entrance may provide you with dinner. Depending on the time of year, there is Parasailing, and beach chair and umbrella rentals. World-class Kiva Dunes Golf Course is next door. Kiva Dunes is a nationally ranked golf course. Sassy Bass is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner located at the bottom of the high rise. It has a new outdoor bar and seating area.

A short drive provides a variety of seafood and steak restaurants, Tanger Outlet Shopping Mall, OWA amusement park, Waterville Water Park, Putt Putt, go carts, Deep Sea Fishing, and many more golf courses such as Arnold Palmer’s Cotton Creek. History buffs may want to tour Fort Morgan jut down the road. As you can see, your stay at the Resort can be laid back and relaxing or activity filled and energizing. The choice is yours.

Sweet family trip

We absolutely loved our stay! It was perfect and never really left. Very clean and convenient. The room was perfect for our little family and great access to the pool and beach. We will definitely be back!

My mom and I enjoyed our stay. We found everything to be clean, comfortable and as advertised. Instructions were very clear and helpful. Location was excellent and easy to get to beach, although we only got to go twice due to weather. Would rent again.

A bit small but nice

Overall stay was great. Condo was a bit small but not too bad. I was a bit difficult identifying the property until you get out of your vehicle and walk up the steps. We would definately stay here again. Property was very clean and beds where comfort table.

So Relaxing, So Easy

I enjoyed this place very much, It was so nice to just go up about 6 steps or so and be at the door. No elevators to deal with at all! I stayed here traveling back and forth between here and home (300 miles away) for the month of October. It was nice being able to keep my things in the room, ready for my return. The condo was very clean, smaller, but all that I needed. I hope to be able to stay here again.

Great for a short getaway.

The property was as advertised. Great location at the beach. Walking distance to restaurant and bar. The bedroom mattress wasn't comfortable for us but that's personal preference. Would consider staying again if available.

Quick Stay

My family and I stayed for two nights before meeting family in Point Clear. The location is perfect. Ft Morgan is laid back and out of the way (in a good way). The condo is on the first floor and has a beautiful view of the sand dunes, ocean, and pool. The walk to the beach and pool could not be easier. The condo is clean and was plenty spacious for two young children and a couple for a short time. The owners were very responsive. The only reason I did not give five stars was because the mattress in the master was pretty uncomfortable and the pillows were worn. Overall, we’d definitely stay again for a short trip!

Perfect location

Condo was small, but clean and in the most perfect location with wonderful views. Whole complex was safe and secure and well kept up. The beach was wonderful too. We enjoyed our month at the Plantation. Thank You!

Good family spot

Our stay was good for our little family. It’s a 12 mile drive to town but it is quiet and peaceful. We had issues with flies and gnats during our stay. Other than that, we enjoyed it very much.

Perfect for everything!

My husband and I wanted a quick and easy beach getaway with our 4 year old twins and 7 year old. This place was PERFECT! Easy access to the beach and easy access to the pools. Being on the 1st floor and on the corner of the building made all our outings perfect. We will definitely be planning to come back.
