Quick get away before school starts.

We love Fort Morgan. This was our first stay in Morgantown. The house was just as described. It was very clean and tastefully decorated. The neighborhood was quiet and very laid back. The beach is visible from the top deck and is only a short walk away. Talley Ho is definitely on the second trip list.

Tally Ho provided plenty of room for our 6 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 baby. With close proximity to the beach, we were able to walk down each morning and set up our beach gear then walk back and forth as needed. The house was so nice! Best family vaca with both my adult kids and their families! We would definitely come back to Tally Ho!

The beach sand is soft, not hard-packed. We stayed the month of February, so we still needed some winter clothes. Enjoyed golf at Peninsula and Gulf Links. Be sure to visit the charming town of Fair Hope on Mobile Bay. Our favorite breakfast restaurant in Gulf Shores is 'The Ugly Diner.' Royal Red Shrimp and Fried Crab Claws are a special treat!

The Home was beautiful and perfect location for a beach vacation. Short walk to the beach and a short drive to stores nearby. I'd definitely consider this Home again on another GulfShores vacation. Property Management was awesome, quick to answer any questions. Very friendly, even came and met us the 1st morning. One of the best Management I've dealt with.

Reviewer Comments: When we arrived there were 5 issues( leaking ceiling, broken bed, ice maker not working, blue crayon left in dryer and inside of dryer blue) 3 were addressed and fixed right away. The leaking ceiling they could not duplicate but did state that prior complaints received, my load of clothes that were ruined because a blue crayon was left in dryer was not addressed at all, some of those clothes were brought just for this trip!

Let's go Talley Ho!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Talley Ho was great!Very clean and airy.The walk to the beach is so, so easy and fast, like 5 minutes, maybe even less. Every morning I would load up our car with our beach set up and grab a nice spot, there is limited parking right there. Take the car back to the house for the day (to free up spots for those who really needed them), and then we'd bring back the car in the evening to load it all back up, easy peasy. One day we took our car on the ferry to Dauphin Island, so quaint! Just look up the ferry times online, and be aware the last two ferry's can fill up early so give yourself time to get back, or you'll have an almost 3hr drive back. We saw dolphins everyday we were at the beach and on the ferry! This was such a lovely trip in a beautiful beach house with a great location away from the Gulf Shores crowds. Highly recommend!!!! P.S. Cheri was so welcoming and gave us great tips for restaurants and places to go!

Great spot for our family! It was a short walk to the beach and we had plenty of room to spread out and play. The house was clean and well taken care of. The only things I wish we had that we didn’t were a hose at the end of the beach boardwalk and hooks or towel bars in the bathrooms.

Nice property

The property is extremely nice. Close to beach access and amenities. The restaurants that are in the area are nice and Gulf Shores/Orange Beach is not overly far away. This is a wonderful family oriented area of the beach. My only complaint is that the beds are not overly comfortable at the house. It wasn't horrible, but not anything like my own.

First family trip to beach

Property was very nice. We definitely will be back and might even look into a bigger property to get more family here with costal view. Very easy to get ahold of property manager and was very nice!
