Great Stay!

Loved the place. Plenty of pools and hot tubs to choose from. It was right at the beach and far enough from town to have a peaceful beach but close enough to get supplies.

Short but sweet stay

This location is excellent! The communication through Vrbo was slow but through VACASA was immediate. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals. Suggestion: add a permanent coffee filter and a 2nd balcony chair!

State Track Meet

Great Stay!

This was a great little place. It’s just a short little stroll to the beach. The only issue we had and I wouldn’t even call it an issue but the ice maker was missing a piece and wasn’t making ice, I reached out to guest services and then maintenance reached out to me and offered to bring us a bag of ice, which I thought was so very nice. I would definitely stay there again.

Great Location

It was great location with a boardwalk to the beach which makes it easier to pull your cooler down too. My family and I didn't spend a whole lot of time in our room. There was no bedding for the pull-out couch but thankfully I brought extra blankets. Also, the tv in one of the bedrooms did not work. Would have been nice to have while the kids went to sleep. Even though I rated it a 3 I would probably give it just one more chance.

We love it!!

Everything went great! The apartment was very clean, they even leave some shampoo, soaps, detergent and stuff for you to use. I saw reviews complaining about outdated but we really enjoyed the place. Everything worked, you have all the appliances and more to cook. We really like the place. You have outdoor and 1 indoor pool that you have access to. Outside the pools there are boxes for the kids to leave and take beach toys. There is a very nice family friendly atmosphere. Mi kids love to find toys in every pools. The beach is beautiful!! Every place was clean and very well taken care of. One consideration is the distance to grocery stores and restaurants. But we really enjoyed our time there!!

Condo from hell!!

Not as advertised. BUGS! Old. food encrusted, stained dated and broken furniture. Uneven gapped floors. Worn filthy carpets and frayed rug. Broken flush, shower, door lock, ice maker, no screens for ventilation. Second bathroom tub has no support under it and flush makes horrible whiney noise when flushed. Etc., etc., etc.

We were very disappointed. The wallpaper in bathroom was peeling to show considerable amount of mold/mildew. The tub faucets were molded. The toilet ran constantly. The outlet for the coffee maker had a short (I had to hold the plug in till it was done brewing). The sleeper sofa did NOT have bedding or linen. When I called one persons said they would have delivered the next day another person (supervised Kristen) suggested I go buy some. The Plantation was a nice place to stay until VACASA took over management. This was my fourth time here - it will be my last; there are way to many other places to stay to be treated this.

This unit was dirty. The patio furniture was so dirty we had to wash it before we could sit. The kitchen was woefully under stocked - 4 coffee cups smaller than any I’ve ever seen, pots and pans obviously for people who only eat out, and the toaster caught on fire! Actual flames came from the toaster. The dishwasher was barely attached and didn’t fit right. The ice maker never worked. The garbage disposal had a loose piece and kept slipping. The living room had one acceptable couch and two ridiculous, no one would sit in them for more than a minute bamboo chairs. Exactly how are 6 or even 3 people supposed to watch a movie like this?!?! For the record, we had 3 people and it was cold which meant more time in the unit binging Netflix than we would normally do. We had to scrub an Adirondack chair from the balcony and bring inside so the three of us had places to sit and watch TV. And the couch is a sleeper sofa- thus it accommodates 6, but the unit provided no pillows or blankets besides what was on the beds so if someone was on the sofa they would have sheets and nothing more. Lights and lamps frequently didn’t come on and the ceiling fan (which we needed when the toaster caught on fire) didn’t work. And little things like a broken towel rack in the bathroom that just tell you they don’t care how you perceive them. Longtime loyal customer of Meyers… will not be renting with Vacasa again.,

Best price out there for beach side. However there alot of noisy construction the whole trip. Light bulbs were out in the room. 1 toilet didn't work from check in. Sanitation was 3 out of 5.

We loved that it was so close to the beach. We didn’t love that it needed a few updates. We had people directly above us puking on our balcony and super noisy and loud every night and security didn’t do anything about it when told.

Good for what it was...

It was a property decently priced, can't argue that. However, at the time we went: there were only 3 outlets out of the whole property that worked, the main bedroom shower was extremely clogged, and the toilet wasn't the cleanest (had some urine spots and hair). Other than that, you're paying for location (it's right on the beach) otherwise this property would've barely gotten 1 star from me.

Very nice experience

Right on the beach. Pretty much exactly as described in the advertisement. Clean. If you want to be close to shopping, activities then this is probably not your best choice... but... if, like us you were looking for a good, secure, clean location near the beach where you could walk and enjoy the fresh air and waves - then this is the place. Even though the weather had the swimming in the Gulf off-limits, there are several very nice, large, clean pools. Also - we found the Sassy Bass grill (located about 250 feet from the condos) to be an awesome, 'beachy'-vibe place to get some outstanding food at very reasonable prices. We had zero bad experience in our dining there... it was ALL good! All in all we got a great place to stay at very reasonable rates in a secure (active security on site) area. We will be back.
