Overall the property was good enough. The carpet had many stains in all of the bedrooms. On the interior doors, paint was peeling off. The decor and seating area was very dated, and the cloth was torn on the chairs. The sliding door was extremely difficult to open and close. In the middle of our stay, a San Carlos employee came in and out of the condo multiple times due to the A/C unit leaking into the walls. He left buckets of paint and other debris in our room for the remainder of our stay. The seating on the balcony was very minimal and also dated. We did appreciate the chairs, wagon, and umbrella that were available to use. We love the pool, as always. We have stayed at San Carlos in various condos for many years, and love the rooms on the end with the excellent balcony views. Unfortunately, this year's condo experience was not the quality that we are accustomed to. Nevertheless, this is our home away from home, and we will be back.
