The property location is awesome! The community pool is right outside the door and is directly adjacent to the lagoon with a nice dock and area to fish and catch crab. It is a very short walk to West Beach. I loved it because it was less crowded near there. Lots of nice shelling areas there too. The house was well laid out with two master suites; one on the main floor, right off the main living area/kitchen and one upstairs. There were two additional bedrooms upstairs with a Jack and Jill bathroom. The house needs updating but overall is nice. The kitchen has a small table with 4 chairs and a breakfast bar that seats 4 people as well. The kitchen is lacking in supplies such as a cutting board, rubber spatula, storage containers, extra silverware. The sink did not drain properly and the garbage disposal did not work. The washer makes very loud noises when spinning. All easy fixes. The patio door and doors to access the balcony from bedrooms are very, very difficult to open and close. Things to bring if you stay: foil, plastic wrap, zip lock bags, TP, paper towels, dish soap, dish detergent, and storage containers for leftovers. We are a family of 8; mom & dad, three adult children and their spouses. The house was nice for everyone to have their own rooms and space, easy access to lagoon, and short walk to the beach. Overall, I would recommend this spot for families with children of all ages.
