    The Lighthouse Resort is located right on the sand near the heart of Gulf Shores, just over half a mile east of Highway 59. Within walking distance are Sea-N-Suds, The Hangout Gulf Shores, and a variety of other shops, restaurants, and nightlife hot spots. Take a morning stroll or cast your fishing line in Gulf State Park half a mile east, or head just up Highway 59 to Waterville USA, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, and Pirate's Island Adventure Golf.
