Tropical Dunes is a luxurious 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath Gulf Front beach house. It is located in Fort Morgan, in the beautiful “Dunes” gated community with access to 2 swimming pools, workout room. The warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico are only 50 yards away. This peaceful community borders a nature reserve.

All amenities are located conveniently close to the house. The pools are 50 yards away. Everyone will enjoy the easy boardwalk beach access. Parents will appreciate the beach cart we provide to assist with easily and comfortably transporting beach gear down the boardwalk.

Families will have a wonderful time at Tropical Dunes. We offer several amenities especially for small children including: children friendly plates and cups, 2 pack-n-play, high chair, booster seat, security gates, bed rails, beach toys, board games.

Throughout our common area you can enjoy unparalleled views of the Gulf of Mexico. For additional viewing enjoyment we provide a 50' LCD TV in the living room and plenty of seating space. In the dining area you will find seating for 15 people. The kitchen is fully accessorized for large groups providing every detail to make cooking a pleasure.

One of the most pleasant times to enjoy the breath-taking views is at sunset when our two large covered Gulf Front decks provide family and friends with the perfect location for a relaxing drink while enjoying the views, the warm breezes, the changing colors of the sky and frequently opportunities to see dolphins playing in the water.

Sleeping arrangements:
1. Bedroom with king size bed and private bath at main level (bay side)
2. Master with king size bed and private bath upstairs (gulf front)
3. Bedroom with king size bed and private bath upstairs (bay side)
4. Bedroom with king size bed, private vanity, sharing a jack-n-jill upstairs (gulf front)
5. Bedroom with 2 bunks upstairs (single over single); (double over queen) - 6 children can sleep comfortably in this room depending on the age group.

After a full day frolicking at the beach the comfort of our bedrooms will provide the perfect setting for privacy and relaxation. We have two OCEANFRONT suites. We have one suite on the main level with access to all the common areas without the use of any steps, including the balcony overlooking the gulf, and the other four upstairs. You will find TVs in all bedrooms.

In order to keep you connected while at Tropical Dunes you will also find Wireless Broadband Internet.

Family vacation

House and beach were both wonderful. Indoor/outdoor pool was good. Location was farther from town than we realized. Nearby construction made for a bit of an eyesore but obv outside the control of home owner. We had an issue with upstairs AC at check-in but Carla responded right away and had repairman over same day.

Family time

Had a wonderful time relaxing at the beach. Home had all the kitchen supplies you could need. This is a great place to stay there were foot wash areas to clean up after being on the beach and the house was close enough to board walk that you could make as many trips back and forth from beach with little effort. We will definitely visit again.

It was great to be right on the beach. Having access to a pool was nice also, but the beach was the most enjoyable. The home was perfect for us. The only thing we noticed that couldbe improved upon was that there weren't enough towels in the bathrooms for everyone. Not for the beach, but for the bathroom. We would likely do this one again some day.

Relaxing Beachfront Home

This property is lovely. The view from the balconies to the ocean is stellar. We enjoyed lots of mornings and nights on the porches listening to the ocean waves. We also loved the large dining table for meals with our friends and family. The shower and tub in the main suite were nice (excellent water pressure). The storage room had plenty of beach chairs, pool noodles, and beach toys. We could have probably left all of our beach toys at home and still had more than enough. 🙂 The charcoal grill was also a nice amenity. Pool access was a nice touch for those with children. The indoor/outdoor pool and pool area was well kept. The hot tub was lackluster and not as clean. The jets were weak. It was, however, nice and warm. Regarding improvements that could be made: The mattresses are uncomfortable. Lots of stiff backs and sore hips. Mattress toppers could help. The living room furniture is terribly uncomfortable. We enjoy getting cozy for movie-watching & book-reading, after a long day at the beach - Difficult to do on these painfully stiff pieces. Side note: There are many stairs which could be difficult for guests with mobility issues. Disabled or differently abled people should be aware of this prior to booking. Overall, we were happy with our stay. The host was attentive and responsive. Fort Morgan is an excellent location with beautiful beaches Many wonderful memories were made.

Lovely view

We had a great week in this house. We had our three kids&spouses and seven grandchildren ages 2 months-7 years. The layout of the house was perfect for all of us and we really enjoyed the gulf views with the dunes in front. Accessibility to the beach was a real plus.

Spring Break 2023

My husband and I, along with our adult children, their spouses and our grandchildren enjoyed our stay in Fort Morgan. This house was perfect for our needs. We loved the short walk to the beach and being able to use both indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs according to the weather conditions.

Beautiful View

We had a great time. The house is right on the beach with fantastic views. We really enjoyed hanging out on the back deck. The beds were comfortable. My only complaint was the cleanliness could be improved upon and we had no cleaning supplies.

Great Week!

The house was the perfect layout for our family. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. There were plenty of beach chairs and toys for the kids. The beach was a little walk since you can’t walk over the dune in front of the house but the boardwalk was a definite plus. Great beach and great week.

Great Stay

We had a great stay. Our trip included 4 kids (10,9,9 and 3) and 8 adults. We felt like the house was good size for our group. The fridge is standard size but we felt like it was a bit small for 12 people staying for a week. There is a dollar general 10 minutes away that has just about everything we needed. We enjoy how secluded the house and beach was in comparison to Gulf Shores.

House was beautiful. Great location and not crowded. Beach was gorgeous. Easy walk to the beach from the house. The only thing that disappointed us was the community pool was green and closed the whole week. This was not any fault of the homeowners.
