Seawinds on the Gulf

The condo was true to the listing. Great view from the balcony, the condo was clean and had everything we needed. The property, Seawinds, only has 2 elevators which made travel up and down difficult and we were often left to use the stairs. Additionally, the balcony could use a power washing.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time during our two month stay. Unit was as pictured with plenty of cooking utensils, dishes etc. Beds were very comfortable. Overall the unit was great. Could use a little updating but cannot beat the location. The property was clean when we arrived. Sea N Suds located right below us on the beach was very handy. The food and service were really good. Would recommend this unit if staying in the Gulf Shores area.

Great condo and location

We had a great week in this unit. The condo was even more beautiful than the pictures. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook many meals. We also had plenty of towels and linens. The view was exceptional as well! The WiFi password that was displayed in the kitchen was wrong so we were without WiFi for a couple of days. When I called Monday, they provided me with the correct password. Also, the tv in the bunk room did not work. Other than that, the condo was perfect for us! We had zero issues with parking, which I was worried about. Found 2 spaces easily each time we entered the garage. The elevators were a challenge. We encountered lines and long waits daily. I would stay here again for the price we paid! Great experience.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very nice! It was a good size for our party of 6. Three bedrooms, a nice kitchen and living room. The best part was the view of the gulf off the balcony! The bathrooms were nice and large too. The only real negatives are the guest bed and the elevators. The Bed in the guest room was incredibly uncomfortable. So much so that I ended up sleeping on the sleeper sofa instead. A new mattress is needed! The building elevators are not adequate for the number of people going to and from the beach, shopping, etc.. Often you will have a long wait, and the doors will close very fast! Other than those two things, I would hardly recommend this condo. If we come back to Gulf Shores again, I would definitely stay here. Also, the sea and suds next-door has fabulous food. Highly recommend that as well. The beach chair set ups are a bit expensive at $40 a day., so maybe consider bringing your own chairs and umbrellas. The management company was very responsive to any questions we had.

Reviewer Comments: We needed a place to stay for our nephew's graduation and our boys' birthdays and judging by the pictures this place was perfect for a family of 4. I booked it, they reached out to verify and get my identification and told me the owner would email me the code to the door for our arrival. I didn't expect the email until just before 4PM on arrival day. Well it never came so I figured I would go to the front office. No one was there. So I tried calling. No one picked up. We were there AT 4PM. We went to the gaurd shack and he had our names for the reservation and condo number but no code to get in and no way to contact who I needed contacted via Whimstay/Aqua Vacations. I kept calling until someone answered! Finally a lady (I want to say Linda?) answered, I explained, she gave me all the info I needed and made me feel soooo much better because I had a mental breakdown in the parking lot thinking I had gotten ripped off and lost our money and had nowhere to stay. Once we got in it was a sigh of relief. The key code worked, the condo was spacious and beautiful and tasteful. The appliances, the furniture, the showers, all were great. The view was beautiful!!!!! The beds were the most comfortable beds ever! My kids loved the bunk beds. (9&2) It was one of the best places we've ever stayed at. The vibe was relaxed and fun all the way around. The ONLY disappointment was the pool and kiddie pool. The kiddie pool didn't work half the time and was freezing when it was. The indoor/outdoor pool is small but I guess why swim in the pool if you I have an ocean? It was the perfect distance to Pensacola and the Aviation museum. Restaurants are walking distance or a super short drive. I absolutely loved the stay and we're glad it worked out!

The room was clean and ready. There’s nothing better than the family showing up to a clean room and easy check in process, ending with a hug and thank you from the kids. We all loved our balcony view, the pools, and the beach. Everything was nice, elevators were quick and the condo location was great. We loved our stay at Sea Wind!

Great spot on the Beach

Great location, nice condo. We enjoyed our stay here very much. Plenty of room and a great view. Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, large balcony, overall really nice. The elevators can be a bit frustrating during high traffic times. Room had a couple cleaning issues upon arrival, though nothing major and we did not reach out to owner/manager about them, just fixed it ourselves. Would rent same place again without hesitation.
