Lovely quiet getaway

Sunset properties and dunes subdivision NEVER DISAPPOINT! This was the perfect quiet little gem for us to get some quiet time on a beautiful beach. The condo is comfortable and clean, sunset properties is always reliable and swift at responding if needed, property is well maintained and quiet. 4 years and we just keep coming back!

Great beach condo

We enjoyed this condo's location. Fort Morgan is not as crowded as Gulf Shores. The condo was clean and decorated very cutely. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed in order to eat at the condo instead of eating out.

Another fun week at the Dunes

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our fifth stay at the Dunes in the last 10 years, and we always enjoy the stay. Comfortable condo, great seafood within a few miles, and a great pool - yet not overrun with other people. Beach is nice, but this time the jellyfish were a problem, so we got more time in the pool. Looking forward to returning next year.

A Cozy Get Away!

Great first vacation at Fort Morgan

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay,perfect weather, clear blue beach. Clean, not crowded. Far away from the public beaches but not too far to drive into. This was our first trip to Gulf Shores but most definitely won't be our last. The drive over was longer than our usual beach trips but the views, not a bunch of high rises to take away from a true beach experience.Very relaxing and anything we could want or need in a condo. Property manager reached out to us several times to make sure everything was okay. We came during the first week of Oct and Shrimp Feastival and will come back again.

Not my favorite place to vacaction

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was not good 20 miles to do anything as far as entertainment or restaurants. There were two places to eat within the 20 mile drive to town. Tacky Jacks was two hour wait. Sea lice in the water was bad as well and heard from locals that it usually is bad.

Could use some work

Place needs updated and cleaned. Several issues that need addressed. First and foremost is the musty, moldy smell. Several lights didnt work. One of the kids tvs in the bunk area didnt work. Several light bulbs out.

Perfect getaway

This is our third time staying with Sunset Properties in the Dune subdivision and it has been perfect every single time. The condo was the perfect size for just my husband and I on our “babymoon” before our little man is born. The pool was clean and quiet, and the walk to the beach was quick. Love coming to fort Morgan and LOVE staying at Sunset Properties managed homes

Needs Updating

Property looked tired. Chair cushions old and ripped in some cases. Uncomfortable to sit on balcony and similarly at kitchen table. Only two hangers in closet so we had to go to store and buy some. That said, Dunes is nice place to stay.

Also, Sunset Properties was great with helping us. Our original reservation was for 2020 and the hurricane hit the week before our stay. The condo we originally had apparently was not available anymore and all VRBO showed was “Property no longer available.” I called Sunset Properties directly and they were amazing with helping me reschedule and getting us another condo.We loved it so much we didn’t want to come home!

The property wasn’t cleaned well. There is mold on the ceiling, sand in the bed, and the furniture was literally in shreds. I texted images of all these issues to the property manager (per the guidelines) and received no response.

Beautiful Location

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation was great and Sunset Properties were professional and very welcoming. We will definitely rent through them again!! We did not report this to them during our stay we just cleaned everything our self and enjoyed our time together. The only complaint we have is that the property was not cleaned well. We arrived in the middle of the night and just took care of things our self so that we could have a place to sleep. If Sunset Properties would like to know what cleaning we had to do I will communicate that to the directly.Outside of cleaning upon arrival our stay was great and we had an awesome vacation.

Clean, comfortable and great location

My husband and I stayed here while we were visiting the area for my sister's wedding. It was absolutely perfect for us. It was primarily just the two of us, but we did have my nieces and nephew a couple of the nights and the bunk beds were a huge hit, as was the pool. Sunset did a wonderful job preparing us for our visit. Finding the property and getting in was a breeze. We stopped in Gulf Shores for groceries and miscellaneous items we thought we would need, but the condo was very well stocked. We had pretty much everything we could need aside from food. The trash shoots at the end of the halls on each floor made clean-up so easy! The beach is not a far walk, but the pool was such a nice sand-free alternative and there was hardly ever anyone using it. The marina is right across the street; and there's a general store not a stones-throw from there, so we really did have everything we needed. The only negatives were that the place was kind of messy -- not outwardly -- but when you opened the cabinets in areas like the entertainment center, the laundry area, etc. things were a complete mess. I ended up cleaning and organizing things during our stay -- it was not a big deal. The cable in the living also did not work and the DVD player did not work, either. The TV also needed adjusting, because even if by some miracle we were able to get a movie to play, it was all blown up and not the right size for the screen. There are four remotes and none of them worked ... I could not even figure it out using the controls on the TV. All in all, it wasn't important. I am sure had we reached out to Sunset, they would have sent someone, but I did not want to bother -- after all, we were there to watch TV! In summary, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return.
