Welcome to REEL HOUSE, a completely renovated 2-bedroom, 2-bath cottage located on historic Mobile Bay, just 2 miles from Fort Morgan. Sleeping up to 5 guests, this delightful home offers a king-size bed in the master bedroom with private bath and a twin-over-full bunk in the second bedroom for children or adults. The fully furnished kitchen with new appliances makes preparing meals and snacks easy, while the large 65” TV in the living area provides entertainment after a day of fishing, beach activities, or relaxing by the bay. Enjoy the scenic views, outdoor adventures, and peaceful atmosphere that make this home a perfect getaway.

PET POLICY

This home is dog-friendly for one small dog only (25 lbs max). Guests must notify us upon booking if bringing a dog. The following breeds are prohibited by the association by-laws: Doberman, Rottweiler, Chow, or Pit Bull. No other pets are allowed.

• Dog must remain on a leash when outside of the house

Relaxing quiet cove with a view

We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and watching the sunsets. The little private beach was a nice added attraction. Great place to get away from it all.

This stay was perfect for the girls to get away! It would also be great for a family vacation with pets. Nice beach. The house was very clean, kitchen was well equipped to cook. Beds were comfortable. We will be coming back.

So clean, so nicely furnished, an ideal property on the water. The neighborhood was very quiet and the beach only two blocks away. However, we liked staying at the property with the small beach in front of the house. The dogs loved swimming, we relaxed by the water and enjoyed the view. Sunset Properties thought of everything for water recreation including kayaks, paddle boards, boogie boards, fishing poles and traps. You can’t go wrong with this cottage!!

I think in the future....the grass and sand burs need to be address because with pets and even people that is an issue. Also, the TV was awesome but football season is upon us and there needs to be a notation that the service is APP BASED so you can be prepared to have passwords and info on hand. Otherwise a beautiful property and location to TACKY JACKS and beach is very close. Sunset properties are great to deal with and very accommodating....will definitely use them again for my next getaway!!!!

Construction noise was unexpected.

The house was great and the process was easy but we had no idea that construction was occurring right next door. Starting bright and early every day there was construction noise all day long. It made time on the porch not enjoyable. It was not a relaxing get-away as we had hoped. I just wish it had been disclosed so I could have made an informed decision.

Not so peaceful retreat!

Pictures show a relaxing little cottage but little did we know they were building 2 houses right next door. Workers were there from early morning to late night, hammering, drilling and making a lot of noise. The peaceful retreat was far from it! The house being built next door is approximately 10-15 feet away, so very close. The cleanliness of the house was questionable also. Seems there were several spills and stains throughout the house. Kitchen counters had a spill of white goo??? No I would not recommend this house unless you had very low expectations!
