What we loved most about this listing was the condo itself.Tons of room, on the beach, not too high up and not too low down. What we did not care for was how far the resort was from other places we wanted to go.If we wanted to go to Walmart, or souvenir shopping, it was a 20 minute drive behind slow drivers. They do have restaurants at the resort, but they are all located at the front of the facility, so you either have to walk, drive, or catch a ride with the resort bus, which we never saw.If we wanted food, there was no delivery available, you had to get in your car, drive to the front of the resort which felt like about a mile at 17mph and speed bumps, wait for them to open, only one opens at 7:30am-10pm, then drive back and fight for a space. There is a dollar general a mile up the road, but their cashier had a meltdown and started cussing in front of my kid. We also didn’t like that you had to sit behind the people who paid for tables and umbrellas. It felt very hierarchical, at times.I’m not sure that we were really aware of how “resort” it really was.The walk from the building to the beach is a good walk down a long pier/deck ramp, making it slightly hard to take lots of beach stuff and pass people on the opposite side.We loved how easy Pam made everything, and would definitely stay at one of her properties again. With a full kitchen, 3 spacious BR, and 3 baths, the condo is definitely 5 stars.Furniture sucked, uncomfortable seating, comfy mattresses though.C.H. extra $.
